Why name brand cloths cost so much?

thats true to some degree, but some regular shirt design look way better than some of those name brand cloths.

btw guys i get what all of you guys are saying but to be more specific talking about jeans that cost over 200,those over priced ex:true religion, WHILE i think levis and other regular brand is just as good quality

but multiple of triple digit bag really hurt you wallet.
My mom for example have spent countless thousand of dollar on bags which some she never use after a few usage.

Certain occasions require that I look my best and for that I bring in the expensive stuff. Most of the time though I put on a thrift shirt, some jeans, and black chucks.
