yeah scola has at least 3-5 good years left, even if it was only 3 i can't see him dropping off too much his 4th year because his game isn't based on athleticism. That 5th year is tricky, but i'd expect him to still be able to contribute and at worst he'll be an expiring, assuming he gets a 5 yr deal.

Your absolutely right about lowry. 76ers could give us Thaddeus Young that'd be a nice little add.

i tweeted ric bucher as to what team tmac would get traded to , he replied, he spoke to a gm and didn't see any deal happening. He is a very trusted source, so looks like we will just use the money in free agency after this year.

Ric Bucher is not the GM of the Rockets or any other team for that matter. Nor is he a fortune teller. He cannot predict what is or isnt going to happen.

Back on topic, it is looking like a trade or shakeup is needed now, not later.

i didn't say he was the gm , i said he spoke to a gm about the rockets situation, also i know he is not a fortune teller, but i said he is a very reliable source, so regarding the topic, im saying dont expect a trade to occur.

Well I'll politely disagree. I believe a trade will get done, though not as soon as many would like.

this is what i asked @RicBucher Chi, Was, Tor, or Phi.. where do you see Tmac going? or other? what other rocket gets dealt?

    his response
RicBucher last GM i talked to- this morning -doesn't see him being dealt. Hou would have to take back at least 1 bad contract, which they don't want.

he responded in a direct message

Morey has said they are willing to take back a bad contract(to a degree I assume. Dalembert and Brand are beyond bad contracts. John Salmons? If he exercises his option only ~5 mil for next season.)

yes he is willing to take back a bad contract, but for an all star talent, neither of the names being mentioned for mcgrady are all star talent, igoudala is the closest, but Hou would also like Speights in the deal and Phi is not having that.
