I think you're right. See what Jonathan Feigen wrote in his blog below. "If they land Barry this time and keep Landry, that's a deep, solid roster. Then they can make that trade to improve the team, the sort of move that Morey has called the key to the plan. Actually, it's going to be a long summer. Landry will take his time, lots of time. Trades can take longer. But at least one thing is certain: Novak is locked up."
