Yes but you would still have your scorers in Martin and Scola.

When Lowry on the court, the guys always can play better than AB there.

Why not trade AB for better player? At least Adm should list Lowry in starters.

Base on what? Kyle Lowry have only play 20 minutes with this group and in the preseason he was awful.

If you plant to trade AB and start Kyle then trade Yao, because Kyle strength is pushing the ball uptempo basketball.

Once again, this is not bashing Brooks. This s about setting the team up to win.

Once again, Brooks can hit the 3 ball and provide Yao space, Lowry can not.

Once again, to win, we need at least ONE of them playing well.

just to clear something up that I keep seeing...

Kyle Lowry actually DID beat out Mike Conley for the starting job in Memphis..

When Lowry was drafted he played 10 games then broke his wrist in a collision with big z. The Memphis organization was so high on him they were ready to go forward with him as their pg of the future. Then the draft lottery happened...

The Grizz had the worst record in the league that year and were in desperate need of a big man either at the PF or C positions. The top three picks in the 07-08 Draft were all big men, Horford, Durant, and Oden... The Grizz wound up with the fourth pick and wound up taking the best player available, Mike Conley.

Mike Conley was the first draft pick of newly appointed GM Chris Wallace. There was no way in hell Conley wasn't starting. Lowry coming off an injury that ended his season in November coupled with Conley being Wallace's first ever draft pick, and a top 5 one at that, meant Lowry never even had a chance.

Despite this, Lowry still outplayed Conley most nights although he shared the floor with the most inept group of basketball players the world has ever known. Literally, this could be the worst second unit in nba history...

    PG - Lowry

The rest of the positions were filled by a mixture of these scrubs which changed almost daily...

    Darko
    Stromile Swift
    Javaris Crittenton
    Brian Cardinal
    Casey Jacobsen
    Andre Brown
    Kwame Brown
    Jason Collins
    Damon Stoudemire

Conley got to play with Rudy Gay, Mike Miller, and Pau...

Is spite of all of this, Lowry actually overtook the starting gig for about a month before the front office demanded that Conley be placed back in the starting lineup.

And in case nobody has noticed, Conley is having a hell of a start to this season. Hes not all that bad of a player...

Take the bet. There is no way Lowry starts over Brooks. Now that the extension deadline has passed, brooks will play much better.

This is the truth; Wallace couldn't give up on their rookie lotto PG so they benched lowry.

Have you noticed he's 1-11 from the field this season?

Looks like his jump shot hasn't improved.

His jumpshot has nothing to do with stopping the other team from scoring. Haven't heard Chris Pauls name mentioned much after Lowry came in. It was mostly....Trevor Ariza using 3 mins. to get 2 pts.

I don't mind lowry starting. But if he does, budinger needs to start over battier. Brooks should have been the backup pg since we got lowry.

I don't mind kyle starting. But can he please stop trying to make a three pointer and the end of every single quarter. I've never seen him make one. Please

Aaron comes in the game and Paul goes into scoring mode. Lowry comes in and Paul goes to assist mode.

Didn't want to make a new thread, so i dug this one up. Anyway, the worse thing that could happen, happened. Now Lowry, upon his return will be the starter.I don't think he should play tomorrow because i don't think he's ready. It looks like Brooks will be out at least a month, so this next month or so will tell us a lot. Personally i don't think we should worry too much because i think Lowry can handle the lead.

Congrats Lowry, the starting spot is now yours to lose.

And apparently he can hit the broadside of a barn.
