Anytime someone thinks VC is in Kobe's level, I feel like bashing my head in against the closest wall.

VC is one of the worst defensive SG/SFs I've seen the last few years.

Pound for pound, the best 2 players in the NBA are Kobe and McGrady, in any order.

I am still wondering where the hell people get the notion that Kobe relies on Shaq?

This is horsecrap seeing how Kobe is not a spot-up shooter, who relies on Shaq to get him open.

Kobe is not a role player.

Kobe is a go-to guy, and as a go-to guy, if anything Shaq gets in the way of Kobe's driving.

Shaq rarely strays far from the basket, maybe 10 ft away at the most. This basically allows the opposition's Center to be able to help out on Kobe's slashes to the bucket.

If anything, Shaq benefits more from Kobe, because of all the assists Kobe racks up on those drives, as well as his fake jumpers, and quick passes to Shaq, or whoever may be cutting to the bucket.

The ones who benefit from Shaq is Rick Fox, Horry, Fisher, Hunter, etc.

These guys can't do jackcrap with the ball in their hand, and a defender guarding them.

If you think Kobe is a spot-up shooter (his only weakness) who relies on Shaq, you should drop the crackpipe.
