Does it really matter who we draft? 1. Silas got a pass last year, tough situation and then tankfest, but I'm not sold on him, maybe he will be good, nobody really knows 2. Is Rafa a good GM or is he just a yes man for Tilman? We don't know yet. Had some activity last year and in the end did we get the best value for Harden? 3. Wood is too skinny, too injury prone and has delusions of what tier of player he is. His coach in Detroit said " HE NEEDS TO GET STRONGER" Wood signed his deal with the rockets and didn't get stronger. We are in the west, BBQ chicken alert for other teams. 4. As long as Wall is on the team, the kids will not grow. I liked Wall when he was with the wiz, but this version is a ball hog that won't pass and thinks he is still the man. I hope the rebuild is swift.
Lower I.Q. ? Mobley fans probably also thought Anthony Bennett was easily the best player in his respectful draft. https://www.sportscasting.com/what-happened-to-catastrophic-nba-bust-anthony-bennett/ easy to misinterpret college competition as NBA competition....if you are a Mobley fan
Is the latest news giving anybody else the feeling that the decision has been made? Is it just me or does it not sound like a promise had been made? While I'm team Mobley, I will be team Rockets if Green is the pick. Just want to know if it's time to give up on my pro Mobley posts.
After Kevin Garnett was drafted we saw for a decade plus teams trying to find the next KG. The Rockets traded the farm to get Eddie Griffin. Giannis has now had the same effect, we will draft guys thinking they are the next Giannis but they will be busts. Drafting any big in this draft will be a mistake imo.
When Ayton was shining.... the Mobley tribe were like "see".... Now when Giannis just won a title.... the Mobley tribe are like "see".... How can you criticize a player that can morph into various centers and oversized wings based on the playoff series or argument?
Ha, the 1996 NBA draft, amazing Camby was an OK player, very overpaid, overhyped and did not live up to a #2 overall pick, but the guards in that draft ouch. Imagine missing out on Allen Iverson, Ray Allen, Kobe Bryant, Marbury, Steve Nash, Abdur-Rahim, etc, etc and you pick Camby at #2 overall. This sounds like a very similar situation. Yet people never learn and are infatuated with Mobley, go figure.
Giannis is unique player that can handle the ball therefore create his own offense by driving to the rim. Unless Mobley shows that potential he's nothing close to Giannis in terms of impact.
