It's def a deep draft, so deep you really cant be sure who will be a star. Moody, Kuminga, Barnes, Bouknight, Green...any one of these guys can end up better than Cade depending on how the chips fall.

I wouldnt even mind trading down from 2 if Rox end up liking other prospects more than Green or Mobley as long as the price is right. The only scenario I would be pissed is if they take Suggs straight up cuz then thats just a waste of no 2 spot.

Agree with this sooo much. If you can get 90% of Green's scoring talent in Josh Christopher or Cam Thomas at 23 or 24 AND you get Mobley then that seems like an easy decision. I just dont think that Green is THAT much better than the guy the Rockets could choose at 23 to justify passing on Mobley and that player.

You keep saying this and it continues to make ZERO sense.

What team is gonna trade this star?

And what star is worth all of that?

You keep saying highly unlikely as if the is a chance those guys could be traded, the same goes for Ja, why would Memphis trade a sure thing for the mystery at 2 and 2 other guys who most likely will not even be rotational players?

Mobley is what an actual elite Thon Maker looks like. They got the same long arms, high ass, long legs, narrow shoulders type of build but Mobley is clearly more skilled. If lucky, then Mobley can maybe get Jarren Jackson Jr type of build but that still sucks at rebounding and positioning.

You're not understanding me. I'm stating that I feel Tilman might not be interested in retaining the top 2 pick. Who knows if he has another star in mind, like Westbrook? I don't think the Grizzlies would trade Ja, but if someone is intoxicated with Evan Mobley and two other talented players, there may be a remote chance of it.

1 game does not a series make.

Thing is Clint wasn't a number 2 pick. Your number 2 overall should be ready day 1

He was actually fouled and sent to FT.

But it was his ball handling, movement and outside-inside play being highlighted.

That's the hope but if the last 10 years worth of draft data is worth anything, your #2 pick usually needs a season or 3 to develop. Gone are the days of players coming into the NBA with more than just one season of college or international ball experience.

There are skinny bigs who were drafted high who were ready to play from day one.

Ralph, KG, Bosh, Durant, AD, Jonathan Isaac, etc.

    Mind blown amirite?

    Not bad.

Swift was freak 6'9 player who loved to run and dunk.

Would have been more successful in today's game. Would have been an All Star next to Harden.

Not as smart or as skilled as Mobley IMO, especially on defense.
