Lol so what if Mobley excels at switching? He isnt the difference maker you are proclaiming him to be. You can srgue the offense without Green is fine but at the same time Mobley's addition to the defense is not enough to help this team. He'd look horrible on the Rox cuz he cant score, if we wanted a 1 dimensional defensive player why not just keep PJ Tucker around? Tucker can defend 1-5 better than Mobley and also hits 3s which Mobley can't do.

Rebounding and FTs? Bruh have you seen how much Mobley rebs? He can barely get rebs due to his low weight, he takes 4 free throw attempts a game. How will help the Rox in free throw attempts when he plays exclusively in the paint and gives you 4 attempts? Green only takes 1.8 fts but thats cuz he averages 7 3PA a game.

Stop drinking the Mobley kool aid smh. I never saw you orgasming over Trevor Ariza but now you all over the 1 dimensional defensive players Simmons, Mobley, Claxton who else?

first of all, anything like this is speculating.

second of all, the sentences you out 1-2-3 are so hilarious I can’t tell if it’s on purpose or you just didn’t know? “You’re speculating. You can’t know this… but oh btw here’s something I know for sure!!!!” Um… what? Others can’t speculate but you can lol?

third of all… we can’t say who else would be on the team and in what fashion. All I can say is all else being equal, this team can’t get a better offensive big open looks so I do t see why they’d magically be able to get Mobley them. It’s illogical.

    And here we go.

Never too early to start ******** on a player to pump up your guy.
If Stone let Wood affect who he drafted he needs to be fired asap.

Mobley is scoring 15 pts per game fg 53% and 33% 3pt shooting
    Green is at 15 but 34 % and 31% 3pt shooting.
    Mobley is scoring just fine!

With Mobley it also opens up so many options. You can trade wood with wall and eg for a disgruntled star. You could have made moves...
I love the Rockets but we F*ed up the draft big! Like Portland taking Sam Bowie instead of Jordan bad!

Pretty sure Green is still the pick w/or without Wood.

Offense is more coveted than defense in today's NBA. Defense is mainly about effort when James Harden decided to try on defense he became an above average defensive player. No matter how much Ariza tries he'll never score and playmake like Harden.

Mobley has some pretty good playmaking guards on his team yet he's still only scoring at 53% FG, that's really bad for an exclusive 2 pt scorer.

Green is taking 7 threes a game, Mobley is all dunks and layups at this point. How is he scoring fine when he scores 53% and he doesnt take any 3s? 33% from 3 from Mobley is misleading since he takes 1 3 pt attempt a game.

There's no facilitator like Rubio on the Rox who'll get Mobley dunks and layups, if Sengun was on the Cavs he'd be averaging 20 and 10 right now.

Sengun figures to have a better career than Mobley right now, the Rox just dont have the personnel to make him the center of the offense like what Cavs are doing for Mobley. Nothing is preventing Rox from trading Wood for a star they can put Sengun on Wood's spot and not miss a beat.

D-rock does that a lot. It’s why you never win arguments against him. He won’t let you.

It‘s a shame really because in general he has educated opinions but would be better suited for articles than a discussion board.

IIRC you have been team Mobley in the beginning right?

i think Mobley looks good but i really do think he wouldn’t look as good on our team right now.

i think Scottie Barnes looks the best so far. I expected him to be good but i didn’t think he’d be this good.

Yeah I was team Mobley at the very start but went full 360 degrees at the end of the draft so unlike other posters here I saw both sides. There's lots of issues with him long term that the knee jerk crowd are just ignoring.

Most of them are really just reacting to the team records rather than the players themselves. Becauze Cavs are 3/3 they automatically think Mobley must be the one leading them to wins smh.

Barnes has indeed played the best, I had him no 3 after Green cuz he reminded me so much of Giannis. But then you also need to take into account Raps coaching and dev which isnt a joke.

The Rockets' offensive rating drops 19 points when Green is in the court compared to when he's sitting and the opponents' offensive rating improves by over 20 points when Green is in the court compared to when he's sitting.

Stop with the excuses, it's pathetic. Just admit that the chosen one has looked absolutely terrible thus far and join the rest of us in hoping he turns things around.

Blaming others or pretending he's doing well just causes you to lose credibility.

Mobley's assists average to date prove me out.

Especially because Cavs have multiple playmakers already on their team, which YOU pointed out.

Rockets have exactly 1.5 per all the KPJ haters, if even that.

Now let's see you back up YOUR speculative BS.

You get both Sengun and Mobley!
As for personnel to help bigs... that's an easy fix.
Right now. If green isn't shooting well what else does he do?

They are rooks so to be expected, by reasonable posters.

But Green was supposed to be NBA ready ASAP so his offensive inefficiency has been surprising.
