I’m open to the idea I completely misunderstood the context of his comment. But Jalen Green is most certainly not shooting 39% from three this season.
Yeah i was also confused by that 39% reference and he was talking about Jalen in the same breath. So shrugs
I think that comes along with Ime saying he wanted Green to be a more complete/well rounded player from strictly being a scorer (and some Sengun P&R) under Silas staff, so he is trying to react to what the defense is giving him as Udoka spoke about You forgot to add Green is trying to play passable Defense for first time in early career, on the court Green head is spinning like a whirlwind with the structure of the Ime system I feel the Rockets will let his rook deal play out and decide to match or not, unless he goes super saiyan mode next season and they would resign him no doubt
Jalen last 10 games Jalen Green - Houston Rockets Shooting Guard - ESPN 37% my bad Figured a forum for Rockets fans might not need everything explained my bad. See link above. Bro he's shooting 37% from 3 and the goober on the podcast tried to explain that it wasn't good. That's haterade. Isn't playing well? Not improving? Define these statements.
Maybe next time you throw the number out, go ahead and give the context of the sample size you’re referencing so we might understand. And also maybe get the number right to begin with so if we somehow miraculously guess the sample size that you didn’t communicate at all it will actually correspond with the accurate number. Just an idea. That way it won’t look like you just visualized the 39% number that didn’t actually happen even in the sample size context which you didn’t share.
So you get to cherry pick which games count? is that how you are playing this? The entire knock against him is not only that he isnt improving but he is highly inconsistent. Cherry picking wont work here. Nice try though. Talk to me when he can string together a whole season of improvement in all categories and then what people say about him will be wrong until then they are right.
This is bad faith bs and you know it. He brought up his 3 pt efficiency of the last ten games because a rockets YouTuber literally said that his 3 pt percentage of 37% of the last ten games still is bad. That's the premise. You are beating up a strawmen to save face.
I understand the concern over Jalen Green's inconsistency this season. As a young player, ups and downs are expected as he adjusts to both personal growth and playing within the new team structure. However, we have seen promising flashes of his talent and scoring ability recently. While he still needs to improve his efficiency and all-around play, his last 10 games at a decent clip show encouraging signs of development. I would argue we should take a patient, long-term perspective on his growth rather than overly critical judgments. If he continues on this trajectory, increased consistency and impact could come with more experience. There is certainly potential there, and it’ll be interesting to see how he builds on these recent performances over the course of the season.
Let's break it down: When you trade, you get: [stuff] When you extend Jalen Green next year, you get: Jalen Green + less cap space Choose wisely Time will tell if Jalen Green can become more valuable than [stuff]
Define stuff. If it’s just some shitty late 1st rounders that we can throw at the likes of Jaygups and Garubas, then I’d rather hold on to Jalen. In other words, be patient?
