I agree that the Franchise should be on the team. But Stu Jackson does have a big part in who gets on team. There was an article on espn while team USA selection was going on and Dr. Jack ask Stu Jackson, why wasn't the franchise even looked at for team USA, and he completely avoided the question as if he didn't know what Dr. Jack was referring to. They need to get Jim Gray to do the interview with Jackson; he will for sure get the story.
agreed. he's got a good midrange jumper. none of that uglyass twohanded corkscrew 'flashy' things players like marion possesses
the one game i saw they lacked heart I think if stevie was there ion the floor maybe he would have lead by example by diving for loose balls and comming up with rebounds also.
Thank God Francis isn't on this team. They have enough problems as it it. I can't think of a player less suited to play on this Olympic team than Francis. Bad defender. Not good in transition. Can't shoot from the outside. Not a good passer/playmaker. Only good at dribble penetration which you can't do against zone D. One of the few smart things Stu Jackson did was to leave Francis off this team.
yah you better thank God too that Stephon Marbury is And did you jsut put Stu Jackson and smart in the same sentence? Steve isn't a good 3 point shooter, but i agree he makes his share of medium shots. The 3pt shot in the olympics is basically a medium shot. It's like 19 feet. I bet i could shoot better at 19 feet than TeamUSA, and shooting is like my worst area in basketball. Actually i kinda suck lots at basketball, but that's besides the point.
