So I understand White stole the show in the combine, however why isn't anyone talking about Terrence Ross, the only guy we end up drafting in every major mock (draftexpress, chad ford etc.)? Ross has done nothing but impress at every stage of the draft, he improved significantly in his 2nd year in college, his team did really well with him being the go-to guy, he has great measurements for a sg, he's pretty young, AND he's lauded as one of the most well-rounded prospects in the draft.

I like his game a lot, unlike guys like MKG, Harkless and White he's an amazing shooter, which we all know is highly vital to anyone's perimeter game. His D is also pretty good, and the fact that he came to camp with just 3.5% bodyfat is both freaky and awesome, showing he does have the dedication to succeed in the next level. I hope DM doesn't sleep on this kid and picks him up when we get the chance.

His prospect video in DX, the analyst compared him to Nick Young but Nick Young is really more similar to Jeremy Lamb, this guys plays D, picks his spots and just has consistent shooting mechanics:

Am I crazy? He looks better than Beal in that highlight video.

Isn't there already a thread about him? He's pretty high on this board man.

He doesn't get to the free throw line a lot.

He's been discussed here...can't remember which thread or threads though.. He wouldnt be a bad pick for Houston at 16, but you hope someone with more potential drops to 14th.

More potential? He could potentially be better than any other SG in the draft, he's 6'7 can shoot lights out and already defends real well. I think we'd be making a serious mistake on passing on this kid.

I like Ross with the 14 but he might be gone, id rank him as the 2nd best sg prospect after Beal.

That and he doesn't handle the ball like an nba gaurd should he will need to improve ball handling and strength and that will help him get to the line.

Two-way fundamentally sound player. He has potential to be borderline all-star. I'd take him at 14 or 16.

Well the only issue with CLee is at 6'5/6'4 he's way too short to be an elite player. This dude's 6'7, so if he could be a 6'7 Courtney Lee he'd probably be all star material.

IMHO the shooting guard ranking in the 2012 draft

    Beal
    Lamb
    Ross
    Rivers

I think he and his draft position are well understood, though people will differ with my rankings.

This. I think Ross might be our pick if he's there at 14. I really like his game, He may be a sleeper along with Andrew Nicholson (who can score inside and out)

If he's available and we pass on him, it'll be a stupid move. He did good in his 2nd yr of college and his game fits even better for the NBA. He can actually create his own shot off the dribble and play defense unlike Martin. Unless Meyers Leonard drops to our pick or we somehow can get MKG or Drummond(pipe dreams)... I'ma rage if we pass on this guy.

I'm a big fan of Ross and hope the Rockets draft him with one of their picks.

Make sure his mom says it's okay for him to play for the Rockets before drafting him.

Ross has been one of my top targets for the team as well. Prototypical size. Great shooter. Puts in effort and is capable defender. He can improve his ballhandling a bit (that's what she said!), but if he can do that he can become a very very solid player in this league, imo.
