Why is Trump covering up the Epstein files while protecting pedophiles?

His tactics are pure volume based to flood the zone. I don’t know how many posts a day he has but it has to be record setting on this site. Like I said if he isn’t paid directly by the 2028 Trump campaign he probably should be.

If lying on the ATF4473 is unimportant, than why are other cases of people lying on official forms not unimportant as well? Just because mortgage fraud is not often prosecuted doesn't make mortgage fraud unimportant.

I'd bet there are hundreds of thousands of some level of mortgage fraud if not millions each year. I'd guess those were pretty serious violations. General rule is if the payments are made, nothing will ever happen (which is what made the trump case in NY rare).

FWIW, it is a real flaw in the system that people can get multiple FHA loans at the same time. Seems they would be better at tracking those.

I'm actually just interested in these women getting some kind of justice, though I don't think it is attainable. I'm not in it just to get Trump. Just like I'm sure a lot of MAGA would love to get a smoking gun on Bill Clinton, but if they don't it doesn't mean the whole thing is a waste of time.

I think they could still get the victims sued because sharing the list with the foreknowledge that it would be publicly shared is tantamount to saying it yourself. It also seems like an abuse of the speech and debate clause. But, I'd love to see them do it anyway.

Republican Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky revealed on Wednesday that a billionaire “on Epstein’s black book” is bankrolling ads against him, joining in President Donald Trump’s pressure campaign against Republicans pushing for the release of government data on Jeffrey Epstein.

In an appearance on CNN’s “The Source,” Massie said that there is an “immense pressure campaign” in progress from the Trump White House against the few breakaway Republicans who have joined Democrats in pushing for the release of Epstein information.

Massie praised Reps. Lauren Boebert, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Nancy Mace for facing “threats from the White House” after expressing support for a discharge petition that would require government disclosure on the case.

A White House official told reporters that support for the petition would “be viewed as a very hostile act to the administration.”

“There’s been $2.5 million of ads run against me by three billionaires who are mega donors to the Republican Party,” Massie explained. “One of them’s actually—I’m not going to say on Epstein’s list—but he’s in Epstein’s black book.”

Trump made a pretty good argument when he was a defendant that there is no lending fraud when the bank does its own independent analysis, and still makes the loan. The bank would have known about the other properties owned by any of the targeted Democrats. And domicile is a question of intent, at the time the form was completed, which is a difficult burden for a prosecutor to disprove.

I watched the press conference of the victims yesterday or the day before, I forget which .....

What they were asking from Trump was "Help us, you have the power" .... Not blaming him as one of them.

The only name I have ever heard come out of any of the victims directly was Bill Clinton. (this was a separate interview).
