Is there anything to prevent Trump from commuting her sentence and rail against 'activist Obama/Biden judges' if the presiding judge wouldn't change her sentence?

Though I seriously doubt Trump would do it since it would be such a terrible terrible look. But Trump has pardoned so many people that I don't think should be pardoned and it just seems to make him more popular with his base, so what do I know.

 

I think you answered your own question. And I think it is up to MAGA. If they will accept and forgive that Trump had sex with underage girls, he will bury the story and get away with it. If they can't forgive it, he'll lose allies in the midterms and face a hostile Congress for the last part of his term. I'm betting he gets away with it. But I don't think this is an issue the liberals can capitalize on - the more they try, the more it will backfire. It's one of those situations where when you see an adversary making a mistake, don't interrupt.

 

MAGA would like to see the burden of proof met for this defamatory accusation. MAGA has learned over the past 10 years that the Democrats will go so far as manufacturing intel and lies to support allegations -- the best example being Russian collusion. Russian collusion was not just politicized intel -- it was MANUFACTURED intel. Much worse. And I believe the Epstein thread is just the latest iteration of Democrats looking to stall Trump's political momentum and damage his movement. But after the decade of Democrat lies, embellishments, and hoaxes -- they do not receive the benefit of the doubt on their latest line of attack. The burden of proof must be met -- and it has not been. Not even close.

Yeah maybe that's what they are going for. Cook her testimony to rope in one of the Bills (Gates or Clinton) to distract.

Even if they do secure a grand jury indictment out of it though, I would think that anyone now that is getting used as a propaganda distraction tool is going to have an easy time convincing a jury that the DOJ acted with bias. It might even be hard to meet the standard to secure a grand jury indictment similar to what happened with Any McCabe.

But this is all for show, and I doubt they care. It's about creating propaganda for the dear leader in order to keep his base loyal.... which they were already going to be regardless. Yeah he might lose 5 percent of his base if there's credible evidence that he did something truly terrible like murder someone or grope a child, but it will never be enough to lose his grip on controlling the primaries, the funding apparatus for the right, and the media ecosystem. Hope to be wrong on that, but based on what I see this is sort of a fools errand, and so blatantly out in the open that it'll probably just make it worse rather than just waiting out the media cycle.

These guys and Epstein were always at modeling competitions and parties being disgusting creeps at best, passing around young women and teen girls like candy and often harassing and assaulting them.

There are so many stories that you can Google about these guys and the modeling industry they ran and how disgusting it was. I haven’t seen a good source that puts all the pieces together. Their agencies were their personal pipeline of young women to abuse.

There were many other rich men involved who went to parties, but Trump and other model agency owners were the pimps. They acquired the girls.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, formerly Trump’s criminal defense attorney, is meeting with Maxwell in Prison to see if she will do what? confirm trump didn't go pedo with Epstein or to see what she knows? and we expect a convicted pedo who is serving 20 years to be honest about anything? So, she says trump didn't do his pedo and then what, she is pardoned, sentence commuted......I know what the end goal is but come on. This lady was the recruiter of the young girls, and this is who maga lawyer is trusting..............give me a break, you're telling me your taking the word of a pedo to get another pedo off the hook??? I am betting the following happens:

Maxwell publicly states that there was no pedo.

Trump publicly states that he believes Maxwell and that she was railroaded.

Trump pardons Maxwell on this premise.

Maxwell leaves the country and goes into hiding.

 

I had read that story before. It certainly paints an ugly and perverted picture of what happened in the modeling industry with that whole circle of rich creeps and the teen models they recruited. Trump was right there in that circle of predators in that business, enticing young naive young teens with promises of modeling careers. Some of those stories they told are disgustingly creepy to put it mildly.
