Exclusive photos: Trump's telltale toilet






"Remember our toilet scoop in Axios AM earlier this year? Maggie Haberman's forthcoming book about former President Trump will report that White House residence staff periodically found wads of paper clogging a toilet — and believed the former president, a notorious destroyer of Oval Office documents, was the flusher.

Why it matters: Destroying records that should be preserved is potentially illegal.


Trump denied it and called Haberman, whose New York Times coverage he follows compulsively, a "maggot."

• Well, it turns out there are photos. And here they are, published for the first time.

Haberman — who obtained the photos recently — shared them with us ahead of the Oct. 4 publication of her book, "Confidence Man: The Making of Donald Trump and the Breaking of America."

• A Trump White House source tells her the photo on the left shows a commode in the White House.
• The photo on the right is from an overseas trip, according to the source.

Trump spokesperson Taylor Budowich told Axios: "You have to be pretty desperate to sell books if pictures of paper in a toilet bowl is part of your promotional plan."

• "We know ... there's enough people willing to fabricate stories like this in order to impress the media class — a media class who is willing to run with anything, as long as it anti-Trump."

All that you say is true. But I guess I haven't given up my liberal ideals just because our government turned fascist.

 

The only problem is that Trump doesn't need his base anymore because he is firmly ensconced and so he can do whatever he wants with no repercussions.

That’s a concern for sure but more than anything I think in this moment he just thinks he can TELL the MAGA world what to think and feel and act more like how a cult leader does towards the end in the kool aid phase.

He might be right though because while some spoke out the other day, most supporters I see here simply fall in line after just a little bit of time for Trump to say the lie enough times, and then FoxNews repeats and gives a narrative their sheep followers can live with.

In the end it’s a cult so you just gotta accept that he’s no different than Jim Jones but with the power of the US government and the most powerful propaganda network of all time behind him.

Yes of course he doesn’t think of repercussions and he obviously has no intention of leaving office before he dies, but here in this moment I just see a cult leader trying to will a lie to his cult followers…. And sadly I see no evidence this time they’ll just wake up and not fall in line just like they all did after Jan 6 etc.

Yep, he's going to be dead from old age and this is his last term so he doesn't give an F. The issue is if Rats in Congress will keep supporting him or jump off the sinking ship. What's the most troubling about all this is how Congress and the Supreme court seems to be colluding with him.

Who knows. The evil ones never go away that easy. I wouldn't count on it even if the physical symptoms look obvious that he obviously has some sort of heart failure, or kidney/liver issue. The swollen ankles being a pretty major sign.

Trump, Putin, and Netanyahu I think of as all being very similar though in the way they are viewing their lives and legacy at the moment. All three of those men, regardless of how healthy they are or aren't, are certainly highly aware of their mortality, and are dealing with that battle of their mortality in similar ways. Its a push for immortality by legacy of conquest. Prove that you are a god, and more than just a man.

It's pretty freaking scary times because of the fact that all three of these men essentially have a god complex, and are clearly struggling with the notion that they actually just humans, and they might all three be dead soon. So let me exert my power over all of you as much as i can now to prove that I am a god, and not just a normal man.

As Americans though dealing with Trump... I hope everyone is prepared for Trump to still be alive in 2028, and for him to break every boundary necessary to stay in power regardless of what happens. If he's alive, he's going to try and break America as we know it. At the very best, we are looking at a situation where we do actually have an election, but Trump runs under Trump Jr., and if Trump Jr. wins, Trump Sr. just moves into a prime minister type of new role. At worst, elections are suspended under pretense, and Trump takes up arms on his own people who defy him.

There is no other option IMO if he's alive. If you think he's just walking away at this point you are dangerously naive.

 

It’s weird to me that so many Trump voters thought Donald Trump, of all people, is the person to expose the salacious stories of rich elites fornicating with girls. Donald Trump. How stupid are these people?

All these MAGA people are doing now is exposing how morally corrupt they are. Again... we are talking about USING child sex trafficking to try and gain political points by demonizing a political opponent with the more vile fake accusations possible.

The fact that nearly HALF of America was willing to use this issue to gain political power tells you all you need to know about where are as a country. Almost NONE of them really cared about child sexual abuse. NONE. It's fcking shameful, and makes me embarrassed to say I'm American because I have to inhabit the same square footage and breathable air as these vile monsters inhabit.
