Remember when Malone and Gary Payton joined the Lakers with Shaq/Kobe.
People penciled them in as champs. but they didn't win it all.

It never amazes me how so many people who can't stand McGrady are always in a McGrady thread. I wonder why

Blind leading the blind. Stop making excuses for the selfish cancer. I was once a tmac fan until he came to the Rockets and his true colors came out. What those guys are saying are very true tmac is a turd. There is no doubt tmac has talent when healthy. Its the baggage he carries. This is a TEAM game. His selfish DIVA personality is no good for any TEAM. Lets stop looking at his declining skills and focus on his shiiiity personality that will never change! Tmac should work on the relationship between his employer and team mates that should be priority. Charity work should be second in line. PERIOD!

There's no video of it, but I'm sure Tracy was passing the A1 steaksauce

    http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2009/jul/20/nba-players-playboy-bunnies-musicians-shine-las-ve/

Paul Pierce of the Bostic Celtics and Tracy McGrady of the Houston Rockets, were spotted at the Palms on Saturday night as they dined separately at N9NE Steakhouse.

Pierce was also seen out by the Palms pool on Friday as he took in the scene at Ditch Fridays.

Tracy McGrady of the Houston Rockets was also spotted poolside that day as he and five friends hung out in a cabana before heading over to N9NE for dinner.

The shooting guard was also spotted out on the town, at Tao, on Friday.

-Actually I've been to N9NE, Tmac has good taste in Steakhouses.

I don't understand what this post reveals. That TMac's contract doesn't reflect his value as a player? No shizz, sherlock. Right now I wouldn't pay him 5 mil.

Both great posts, although I'd disagree the team is better without Yao.

The team had a lot of weak links, including Yao and McGrady. Blaming McGrady is just the most convenient route.

The '09 team had a lot of strong links - we didn't win because of Yao, and we sure as hell didn't win because of Artest. We won because of Yao, & Brooks, & Scola, & Battier, & Lowry, & Wafer, & Landry, etc. People around here claim that star power wins in the NBA. I'm seem to be in the minority that thinks depth is more important.

Actually i don“t like how the cavs play, but i do like how the Lakers played not this year, but the year before. And of course the Miami Heat championship was exciting because Wade was lighting it up and making everyone better.

Nope. Funny how your name is "Math"-loom yet you fail to see the underlying stats behind McGrady's most media-hyped line ever. I do not want to see 25+ points if it came on 41.3% shooting. No thanks. Funny how McGrady worshippers always refuse to acknoweldge his shooting % compared to other SGs we typically compare him to.

that would matter if his efficiency is also poor. unfortunately, efficiency-wise overall, tracy has been pretty darn good in both the reg. season, esp. in the playoffs.

Although Yao may not be very mobile or block many shots. His sheer size in the paint alters many drives and attempts from within the key.

The case can be made against Yao that he wasn't that important to our interior defence as even after he went down Hayes and Scola were able to hold the fort.

I still think he is a vastly improved interior defence that is key to our overall defensive success along with Battier.

Its funny that when t-mac scored 13 in 35secs you guys didnt seem to moan about him then! Its also funny that the rockets real problem is under acieving, slow, weak, overrated and is 7"6!!

i agree with all the tmac haters who say he has no heart and dosent care...im guessing that when tmac cried after losing to utah, he didnt really care...he just wiped some vicks vapor rub underneath his eyes before going to the press conference.......seriously people get off the mans back..if tracy was healthy we would have beaten Portland and La and prob Denver to. And we owned the Magic this year, so we prob would have won it all...so let the man rehab, see what happens and if he sucks...then he goes off the books at the end of the year...jeez...and im glad some of the tmac haters got blocked from this thread because there are people who actually like tracy mcgrady....Go ROCKETS!!!

I'm 25, and not ashamed. What am I gonna do about it?

While you may have more experience watching, I hope you're not implying that you have more accurate opinions.
