http://www.theaustralian.com.au/new...th-to-back-jihad/story-e6frg6nf-1226475239074 AS Julia Gillard struggled to explain how Muslim children could be used to incite violence, eight-year-old Ruqaya yesterday fronted a congress of Islamic fundamendalists in Sydney to espouse her love for jihad. Addressing a 600-strong crowd at the Australian chapter of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Bankstown in the city's west, the young girl urged all Muslim youth to fight for the restoration of the Islamic caliphate, a single global government for all Muslims established under strict sharia law. "My dear brothers and sisters in Islam, as the world gathers against the believers in Syria ... seeking to hijack our sincere and blessed uprisings, children in Sydney would like to send their message of hope and support to the Muslims of (Syria), especially to the children and mothers," she read from notes. "These uprisings have demonstrated that this umma (global Muslim community) is alive and well, her love is for jihad, she is unshackled herself from the fear which she held, and she yearns to once again live under the banner of (the Islamic state). "Children as young as myself can be seen on the streets joining the uprisings, risking their lives to bring food, water and medicine to their wounded family members, some of them never returning to their mothers ... Nobody is too young," she said. Ruqaya was the seventh of nine speakers at the "Muslims Rise" conference. Organisers of the event invited the media to report on her address. Julia Gillard yesterday expressed her horror at images showing Muslim children carrying inflammatory placards at a protest in Sydney on Saturday, including one that read "Behead all those who insult the Prophet". Another sign at the protest read "Our dead are in paradise, your dead are in hell". "I do not want to see in the hands of anyone, particularly children, offensive signs that call for the killing of others," the Prime Minister said. "This is not the Australian way. "We believe in freedom of religion and we believe that every religion should be treated with respect." Hizb ut-Tahrir is an international political movement devoted to restoring a caliphate, the last of which collapsed in the 1920s. The movement hopes Islamic fighters in Syria will replace the Assad regime with a caliph-led state that will eventually annex other Muslim countries and promote Islam in the West. The caliphate would also threaten Western nations with jihad if they did not prevent their citizens from defaming the Prophet Mohammed or Islam. It would be established under the same constitution imposed under Mohammed, which could not be reformed. Ruqaya said: "We must work hard to achieve victory. It is enough that your generation and your parents' generation were raised in the absence of the khilafa (caliphate). Do not allow my generation to be added to that list." Khaled Sukkarieh, the chairman of the Islamic Council of NSW, said images of children at the protest shocked many in his community. "Someone put that (banner) in the hand of a child. "That is a poor, innocent child. It is abhorrent and a very sad way of using children," Mr Sukkarieh said. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ * Hizb ut-Tahrir is a Western hating group with terrorist links that is looking to implement Sharia laws across the world...yes they are in America too...here is what they think of democracy: From that fountain of knowledge Wikipedia... I think it is wrong for any religion, political party or extremist group to use children as propaganda instruments.
What action is that? The comment was about the Pope actively involved in the cover up of rapists? But again what action did I do that was wrong? I never made a claim against all Catholics, or even all Catholic clergy.
And when was this surah revealed? During a battle. That's called context. Is it commanding Muslims to decapitate and cut the fingertips of their enemies in that battle? No, and that would be easily known if it was read in context. God is commanding his angels to help the tiny force of the Muslims. If you actually studied Islam like you claim, then you would know this from Ibn Kathir's tafsir on the Quran. There are a total of 109 ayat (verses) in the Quran that have to do with physical violence. There are a total of 6,236 total ayat in the Quran. That equals 0.17% that has to do with physical violence. The majority of the Quran is stories of past prophets and communities. A significant portion had to do with the events that were taking place at the time of its revelation. See nothing about what you are suggesting in Genesis 1:1. Genesis 1:2 refers to the spirit of God, but that still doesn't explain the son part. And you have totally disregarded the main portion of my first question. Why do none of God's prophets before Jesus make mention of the Trinity? The truth is that their message was exactly the same as Jesus': "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one." Deuteronomy 6:4 So unless 1 = 3, you are sadly mistaken. That does not answer my question regarding an omnipotent being. As for Jesus sacrificing himself for mankind: Inherited sin is simply devoid of logical reasoning and is a laughable concept. I think some Muslims are easily offended because some Muslims are uneducated and will believe anything they hear. Some Muslims are easily manipulated and are quick to react without thinking things through.
I wouldn't mind some proof. Show proof of nearly identical verses from the Quran and Mein Kampf. Show proof that Muhammad and Islam were the inspiration for Mein Kampf. The last part about Hitler's hatred for Jews coming from Islam is simply a lie. Hitler despised Jews in Germany because of their actions following World War I. Bernard Baruch, Phil Sassoon, and Louis Rothschild were all key advisers at the Treaty of Versailles in 1919 and called for Germany to be made into dozens of territorial pieces. Hitler also hated Communism with a passion and it was no coincidence that Lenin put Jewish people in important positions within his new government. Here's some quotes directly from Mein Kampf disproving your lies: "Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord." "The best characterization is provided by the product of this religious education, the Jew himself. His life is only of this world, and his spirit is inwardly as alien to true Christianity as his nature two thousand years previous was to the great founder of the new doctrine. Of course, the latter made no secret of his attitude toward the Jewish people, and when necessary he even took the whip to drive from the temple of the Lord this adversary of all humanity, who then as always saw in religion nothing but an instrument for his business existence. In return, Christ was nailed to the cross, while our present-day party Christians debase themselves to begging for Jewish votes at elections and later try to arrange political swindles with atheistic Jewish parties-- and this against their own nation."
...And latter in Sura 8:39 And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is all for Allah. But if they cease, then lo! Allah is Seer of what they do. (8:39) "Fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah." Sahih International And fight them until there is no fitnah and [until] the religion, all of it, is for Allah . And if they cease - then indeed, Allah is Seeing of what they do. Muhsin Khan And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allah) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allah Alone [in the whole of the world]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allah), then certainly, Allah is All-Seer of what they do. Pickthall And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is all for Allah. But if they cease, then lo! Allah is Seer of what they do. Yusuf Ali And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily Allah doth see all that they do. Shakir And fight with them until there is no more persecution and religion should be only for Allah; but if they desist, then surely Allah sees what they do. Dr. Ghali And fight them, till there is no temptation (Or: sedition, persecution) and the religion is all for Allah; so in case they refrain, then surely Allah is Ever-Beholding whatever they do. ~~~~~~~ In regards to Nazism and Islam. Here read this... http://prophetofdoom.net/Prophet_of_Doom_16_Mein_Kampf.Islam In fact read the whole book... http://prophetofdoom.net/Prophet_of_Doom_01_Would_You_Believe.Islam I would give you answer in more detail, but I am very busy at moment. My apologies. Btw...I truly don't hate Muslims. I do have issue with some Islamic doctrine...but everyone is entitled to their opinion. God bless mate.
Yeah the problem with that quote is that they did fight them, they won, and it's over. That's not an instruction to all Muslims forever. That's an instruction to the early Muslims who were going to be erased off the face of the earth for not worshipping wooden statues and pledging allegiance to the corrupt leaders at that specific time. A similar example, which is also not an open call to violence, is: Surely you must understand that this biblical verse does not mean that you should seize the infants and dash against the rocks everyone who lives in that patch of land or the descendents of Edomites for the rest of eternity?
I wouldn't say the Muslim world is so easily offended. You have America going over to Iraq and needlessly killing more than a million Muslims in recent years. That is pretty offensive. You have American supporting an apartheid state in Israel which discriminates against Muslims. Pretty offensive. YOu have American killing Muslims in Afghanistan, Muslim and other majority Muslims in the area. Pretty offensive.
Who has done the killing? And how do you arrive at a number of over a million? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casualties_of_the_Iraq_War
Another question - Islam calls itself the religion of peace. At Friday prayers, Imams spread the message of Islam, right? How come violence and riots go up after Friday prayers in many Muslim countries, not down?
Muslims are so easily offended because they feel they are in the world's doghouse, they are by most parts really poor, lack education, live frustrating lives of oppression, and see people like themselves get plowed around by the west. They are the ones literally clinging to guns and religion. It's a young religion that hasn't gone through what christianity has as well. Basically, Islam is in its dark ages. There was a time when Muslims were the most open thinkers and led the world in advances. Where they create vast successful civilizations. To say Islam is inherently violent is a bit of revisionist history.
But most of them do not realize to get out the doghouse they need to embrace education and science and not get more conservative by following outdated practices from books written hundreds of years ago.
