Typically I am a Rafer apologist, and I believe if he has an open shot to take it, but tonight he took too many. He should have worked more for a shot for his teammates.

I like rafer and he is the best pg on the team, but until his shot comes back Brooks should be taking his minutes.

i know its only been a few games but i think i'm ready to part with rafer. we need to trade him while he's still worth something. i really wanna have confidence in this guy but man, he is really pissing me off at times.

I fully support AB starting. When you look at Rafer coming of the bench as a veteran backup for stability sake, he looks fantastic.

Yes, he'll turn the ball over... but his speed and shooting will pay far more dividends when a defense has to react to him.

Too many "this guy is a stud" moments to ignore at this point.

Can someone tell me why AB didn't play the entire 4th quarter? Trying to finish this game with Rafer on the court was like trying to fight a wild animal using one arm. Adelman better not be stubborn because he finally has an alternative at PG. Rafer playing 30 mins while AB only played 18 was a bad decision by Adelman. Made no sense at all and wasted a decent effort.

This guy has had such a dramatic decline from last season to this season. What happened to his tear drop lay ups that magically went in last season?

Those stats are just terrible. Can anyone have a worse starting point guard than us. I was upset when Adelman took out Brooks in the 4th quarter to bring Alston in. I wonder when Francis will come back, if indeed he ever does.

This kind of play from Rafer Alston should come as a surprise to absolutely noone. This is the kind of player he has been his entire career. He had 1 month last season where he resembled a legitimate starting PG in the NBA and that is all anyone around here seems to remember. The guy has been a bad player for almost all of his career.

Brooks will drive people nuts as much as he excites them if he becomes the starter.

The way I see it, Brooks offers more reward but also more risk.

Having said that, I think Brooks should get the chance to start for a few games to see what happens.
