well portland should have followed jvg's advise of hacking hayes. they might have a chance to win, while also providing some on court entertainment.

Tmac in the building and JVG teaching the Blazers how to beat the Rockets, hmmmm coincidence? I don't think so, Tmac is obviously telepathically controlling JVG

Along with being a commentator, maybe cuz he was an NBA head COACH, and tends to speak how a coach would speak if he himself was in a comeback situation?

The Blazers made the game interesting, the Rockets were big stiffs closing out the game.

I think as a former coach, it's hard for JVG to refrain from making comments like that. His coaching brain just automatically analyzes the situation on the court. I think his commentary is interesting because it provides strategic insight to the game, or the inner workings of the game. It's better than Clyde's obvious, generic statements.

But the worst commentators i seen is in game #2 on NBATV. I never seen a bunch morons that totally in support of Portland. I mean these peeps are national commentators, they're not from Portland. So they're not supposed to be one-sided But they sure sound like they're working for the Portland team on a local Portland radio station or something. I was shocked and surprised how much nice things they said about Portland every time Portland did something good. Every damm little things Portland did good at ...they were like "YESSSS" like high 5 all around..wtf.

it's the instinct of a great coach.

when ab backed off from that blake's 3, he immediately went, "i don't understand why brooks would be so close and pressure blake when they're up 5 and then back off 5 feet when they're only up by 3..." and guess what, adelman said exactly the same thing in the post game conference.

I think Jeff want to coach the current Rox very much.
When he was the coach, you know, our bench sucked like hell by ranking the 28th among the league. However, our starters ranked the top 2 teams.

Now, we have got a really solid bench and role players. So maybe he admire it a lot.

You're kidding right? Those are the hometown Blazers' commentators. Annoying as f%^&, I live in Portland and watched many of their games on mute.

I heard him say that Oden could be a top 5 center in the league. Off with his head!!!!!

    Geeeze.

Actually it's too bad that they didn't hack a Hayes since we ended up turning the ball over when he mentioned that.

Well incase you haven't noticed the Blazers are the underdogs. He picked the Rockets to dominate this series. Why would he give a team suggestions on how to beat the underdog, genius.

and nearly all those things happened as JVG called them.

it shows that he is a smart commentator.
