JHo mid range is the only thing he got. Like the dude said, hes a hit or miss guy. No freakin defense and JVG suppose to like defense and plays a guy that cant play D and cant crash the board.

I would actually love to get some kind of satelitte dish to watch NBA games, anyone in Oz able to hook me up?

We have this thing called Foxtel digital in australia--its totally crap, they only show 2 games a week (if you're lucky). And i mean this when i say it, they only show the following teams: Spurs, Bucks (must be a bogut thing),sixers, cavs.

Every game is just a cycle of those teams, with the occasional miami, nj sighting. To add insult to injury its rediculously expensive.

Also--every live game is on during work hours here, so if the rox make the finals i'll have to put in for vacation just to watch the games live :D

wrong. if i had looked at the stats i would have seen he wasn't on the 60 win team. as JBIIRockets said, he was on there in 01 and 02. traded from denver... again, my previous post wasn't from stats, but now i will proceed to looking at them.

while in dallas he averaged 15ppg, and 7.25 board/game over the span of 80 games. that on a team with dirk, nash, finley... also van exel, and lafrentz in i remember correctly.

hardly looks like darko's 1.6pts and 1.2rbs to me.

Per earlier poster:JHo mid range is the only thing he got. Like the dude said, hes a hit or miss guy. No freakin defense and JVG suppose to like defense and plays a guy that cant play D and cant crash the board."

I do not get this either. JHO is the worst defender on the team -even worse than Alston.

I know Rockets are stuck with that contract that is untradable like Mo Taylor's was.......Hello Isiah let's make a deal

We are dead men walking at the 4

I don't care how "on" he is in a game... his defense cancels that out most of the time. How many blocks does he have this season? He had a total of 5.. yes 5 blocks all last year... however he has upped his production to 8 this year. bah

Juwan should be a scoring option on your team if your team wants to get into lottery. If he is a focal point of a team, that team is doomed to struggle. Some guys are just talented like that.

Nice guy, terrible player, especially for the position he plays.

    exactly.

first option (tmac) has an all around game - 3s, midrange, turned around, layups, reverse layups, ride dallas players

    yao: most of the above

    howard: open jumper, open layup.

to me 3rd option is really an underpaid first option.

He can't hit the layup. He's too afraid his defender is going to come out of nowhere and block it so he throws it up real quick with the quack quack duck flappers and he misses it half the time.

I hate seeing Juwan get the ball in deep. Blocked shot or TO waiting to happen.

    EXACTLY!!!!!!

He must be one of the highest blocked front court players in the game. As you said, blocked shot or a brick if the defender is anywhere near him. I am glad someone has been paying attention!

Anytime Juwan puts up decent numbers, it basically means that the other team is giving him the wide open shot all night long.

It was the Suns' strategy to let Juwan do the shooting, and they could easily score more efficiently on the other end. Sometimes, I get the feeling that we are playing right into the oppositions hands when we repeatedly run plays that result in open shots for Juwan. There's gotta be a better way.

He is so incredibly useless on D. Slow and small at the same time. It's kind of what it would be like if earl boykins or allen iverson were slow. If you are undersized in this league, you have to bring some intangibles to the table, and Juwan simply doesn't. Most of the boards he grabs by knocking down his own players.

    82games.com click on Juwan

with him on court our offense and defense both go to hell.

    fewer ft's, more net to's.

ORB's down offset by improvement in DRB's.

his roland is bigtime negative next to last on the team, -5.4

he is out of position on ORB's and his jump shot is flat way too often. The reason he relies on that is he does get blocked by younger more athletic guys in the post.

He just turned 33. If you think Yao can't jump, just watch Howard who has like 2 dunks this year.
