Harden is going to struggle against good defensive teams and coaches who know how to contain him until two things happen. 1. Harden evolves his game to find ways to score DESPITE the defenses 2. We surround Harden with more competent teammates. (i.e. another superstar) Lin is fine at point, but we need someone much better at least one of the other 3 positions.
Harden likes to push it and look for fouls. You aren't a superstar yet harden. You won't be getting the calls everytime.
Harden is struggling because eberyone else on this team is playing poorly. When noone else can make any shots, teams are going to double him because they know noone else can beat them.
Yes, The coaching staff should be blamed for most of the offense problems on the court. And Asik should pass out rebounds for the team to organize 2nd offense, not try to do it himself, wasted effort and 2nd chance opportunity.
Harden Harden ended last season with a struggle. You gotta realize that he hasn't played full 4 quarters in a couple years. Last year in the playoffs he faded out towards the ends and it was said that it's probably fatigue. He's a star and a great pick up. He probably just needs to be in a little better shape. It's Morey and the coaching staff's fault for wanting all the offence to go through Harden in order to jack up his numbers. Harden seems like a team player who's willing to share the ball, but the organization is putting all the pressure on him to score score and score more:

Big performance by @jharden13 in his last all-star game RT @sportsguy33 Here's my ? - what are you getting David Stern as a retirement gift?
— Daryl Morey (@dmorey) November 6, 2012
"You don’t want James Harden in a democratic offense. He has to learn to play in the flow, but shooting is not an equal-opportunity proposition. If you’re on a team (and) your best player is not getting the most shots, there’s probably an issue.” ~ Kelvin Sampson Not sure what McHale thinks. He kept saying the right thing after each game, that we didn't move the ball blah blah blah, but not sure if he actually told the players to move the ball.

Harden NOT worth 80mil MAX Sorry guys, I just don't see it. He just doesn't have what it takes to make points come easy for him. I'm thinking TMAC Orlando was a Max Player. No support on a bad team but can still fill it up with ease. Not Beard. Bad call by DM and a fluke first 2 games. Totally bummed.
