A mind is a terrible thing to taste. Yep, don't confuse me with the facts, right? If TV hasn't reported it to be then it mustn't be true. If government doesn't affirm the report then it mustn't be true. I guess then Lou Dobbs and his reports about the facts of illegal immigration and pending, the North American Union must all be a smoke screen, right? How about this why don't you actually prove your point. I gave references which you promptly denigrated. Your choice. For the record, I did not attack until I was attacked. I simply stated my opinion and my position. Last I checked, I still have the rights of free speech and expression guaranteed to me by the US Constitution. BTW, did you even bother to read the sites or are you forming your opinions blindly or by association with others telling you its propagandized crap?
"9/11 was done...by people in our own government and our own banking system to perpetuate...the fear of the American people...into subordinating themselves to anything the government wants them to do." - Aaron Russo Really?
Thank you, Achilleus! Somebody on this board has a freakin brain! The rest of you who agree with Major are like frogs in a pot getting comfortable but instead you're getting cooked one degree at a time until your boiled and ready to serve for the N.W.O. banquet table coming soon to a country oops, I mean sector near you. Take your heads out of the sand, it won't change anything just your perceptions. "People should not fear their government, the government should fear their people" -V (V for Vendetta).
i didn't get the impression Achilleus' post was in support of you or those websites. of course, i'm a mindless pawn, so take it with a grain of salt.
Why don't you check out my sources, MM or are you too intelligent to listen to common sense? You see apparently from the stand point about immigration and border patrol even Glenn Beck on CNN is asking questions especially in the framework of the Campeon/Ramos fiasco where, Johnny Sutton and Deborah Kenoff espoused such patriotism to imprison two highly decorated, best of the best border agents and allowed the one they were chasing to the border, an ILLEGAL ALIEN, not a citizen to testify against them on the witness stand. Plus, this piece of trash had come across trafficking drugs on several occasions but, Sutton was thinking ... to tell you the truth I have no idea what he was thinking. Anyway, a supposed infraction that should have yielded little more than a written reprimand, maybe a few days suspension they are rotting in prison for doing their DAMN job for 12 years! Is that fair? Hell, one step further than that John Walsh of America's Most Wanted show on Fox even reported on this matter twice in spite of pressure from our government and probably the network as well. Kudos to him though he said "it's my show and I'll report events as I see fit." Look, like I said before see it as you want to see it but ask yourself this much, why won't Bush pardon them when he's pardoning other known criminals and will probably try to pardon Libby if he can get away with it? Why the hush, hush about this topic and tight lip demeanor displayed with any situation, alleged crime involving an illegal alien? Lastly, why has Bush recently bought 100,000 acres in Paraguay? I doubt its for a vacation home. All I'm saying is things aren't always as they seem. Incidentally, remember when building 7 of the WTC just mysteriously collapsed later in the day of 9-11-01, we got little more than "oh look, the other WTC building has just collapsed. Didn't that even remotely look like a planned demolition? You see MM, if you start to pull the string on one detail you might accidentally see that I am not as much the conspiracy theorist you and Major want to make me out to be. If you felt you were wronged because I labeled you a mindless pawn, I regret that I get a little passionate about my opinions. I did not want to believe half of what I am now talking about but, look the stuff up for yourself and prove me wrong. Google: North American Union and you will find a website called nasco.org. It's not science fiction. If I'm so looney, MM prove me wrong but, I think much to your dislike as you research like Aaron Russo simply started out doing you just might be surprised even shocked at what you find out.
wait...you want me to disprove a huge, big, sprawling conspiracy to usher in the new world order? how do you prove a negative? how do you prove, conclusively, that something DOESN'T exist? i'm well aware of all of those thoughts. i remember reading them long before al gore ever invented the internets. black helicopters and all. of course, their work was supposed to have been complete about 10 years ago...when they took over all the air force bases in the country. please don't confuse those websites with common sense, by the way. oh, and did you know you really don't have to pay your taxes?? yeah, it's true. i read it on the internet.
I think you're crazy, or just crazy over illegal immigration, but I'm still going to respond to your post, just not to the comments Major responded to. In other words, you have no idea, you are clueless. EDIT: The reason I think this is important is because if we're going to talk about a group of people and how they impact the US we should have some kind of idea of how many they are. We should also use some common sense, 20 million is an insane number, even 12 million is unbelievable. We shouldn't just throw them out like they're facts. The population of Mexico is 107 million or so, to say that 10% of that population is in the US illegally is a huge stretch, IMO. Even when you add in Central America the population goes up to around 150 million, but the vast majority are still from Mexico. That's just working with the 12 million estimate, when you start moving up to the 20 million, 30 million numbers, it gets more and more unlikely. You completely discount the possibility that along with amnesty we will see increased border security. I don't think we have an overcrowding problem. Most of the 9-11 terrorists came, legally, from Saudi Arabia, none of them came from Mexico. If those terrorists were illegal they would have never been able to prepare for those attacks in the way that they did. Or do you think they could have learned how to fly a plane by cleaning them? EDIT: Also, I didn't insult you nearly as much as you did, I said your estimate made you look clueless about the number of immigrants, because 12-20 million is a very vague estimate. Then you respond with all this stuff about me being ignorant, and dumb, and bla bla bla. Calm down. You ask people to stop believing the things we hear on tv or whatever and that we should open our eyes to conspiracy theories, when you're the one who isn't questioning anything believing the most outrageous predictions of the future. Come on now.
For the record JM and MM, I respect your opinion on what you said even though I may not entirely agree with it. As far as I can tell you from being first hand at the day labor watch sites, not all persons of hispanic and latin descent are bad or evil but, there is a problem i believe when you have groups like LULAC and La Raza, btw our chief law enforcement officer, Atty Gen Gonzales is a member of, funding and expediting their agenda through corporate partners such as: Home Depot, Miller Beer and Bank of America. These are supposedly American companies that are espousing an ideology that is largely anti-American. BofA thinks illegal aliens should be able to open bank accounts never mind the fact that they aren't citizens because yes they're breaking the law but we all break the law, right? At day labor watch sites, I personally have witnessed such rhetoric. I personally have had people cuss me out and flip me the bird why, because I am simply there aiding either with written information, video camera or photographs information to be turned into I.C.E. for follow up if any crime has been committed. Yet, if you were there in person you would swear we were Satan incarnate. All I am asking for is for our government to enforce the laws already on the books, and support the border patrol in word and deed so they can better protect OUR borders. Legal immigration, yes. Illegal amnesty, NO! I fear that the patriot act has done little to ensure our protection and security and more to diminish our dwindling personal freedoms and liberties. But hey I'm the kook so take it with a grain of salt. Hopefully, one day I will be proved wrong on this I would like to be wrong but, I doubt that I am. Because, if I am not wrong, things could get very interesting here in the States over one to two decades and largely not in a good way.
wow, hatemavs4life is truly insane. Thank your for reminding me who I should take seriously and who I should not.
Most of your comments have already been responded too, and very well, by others on the thread but I just can't resist responding to this one. You are aware that being a citizen isn't a requirement for opening a bank account. For that matter you can be convicted of a crime and still open a bank account. There's nothing on the law, at least as far as I'm aware of, that would prevent a non-citizen or a convict from opening a bank account. That doesn't mean that they can have unlimited access from those funds or shields them from government investigation, or seizure, of those funds. In fact if you are so concerned about illegal immigrations you should want illegals to open bank accounts as that would be one way that the government to track them and tax them.
Glad I could be your court jester and halftime entertainment everyone! If this measure passes cloture and gets ratified though, we'll see truly who is sane and who is a lunatic. BTW, JumpMan, according to news sources on my earthlink internet news wire, it stands at 12 million undocumented illegal aliens or is this site also one for conspiracy theorists. Sishir Chang, I meant to say BofA, was openly funded by these groups to proliferate their cause. My mistake for what I said previously. There's a difference between bank allowing a policy and a bank being funded for the sole purpose of further espousing and openly promoting that policy. Just like Bush could allow or not interfere with comprehensive immigration reform bill but, when the people spoke out and got enough senators to bring it to vote for cloture in the senate, the President saw it fit to "strong arm" republican senators into compromising to a corrupt and inept bill. Is that right? I mean the people speak and the President discounts what they say? Many polls have been done and nearly 80-90% of the sample poll say they DO NOT WANT this legislation done and furthermore, until the borders are closed and the ports are secured do not think it prudent to even mention anything pertaining to comprehensive immigration reform. So, am I STILL a conspiracy theorist? Just asking ...
Utility companies and a few other general service providers have a better count than the US Census Bureau. I know that if you want to know population data for an area, and you go to a Chamber of Commerce, they'll give you an official number and they can give you an unofficial estimate. If the area has a large migrant or immigrant population, the unofficial estimate is much better.
