Why is George Springer hitting lead off?

    I think he'll be hitting 3rd for a good number of yrs.

    I should have known better than try to guess Hinch's ever changing lineup. That said, Altuve, Springer, and Correa in any order is likely a good lineup.

    Like I said before, I don't have much confidence in him. I might be wrong and he might start swinging better. I just don't see it. The astros might be taking the same approach. With the game on the line, why put in a guy that hasn't proved he can hit well in the majors?

    The Astros have invested millions of dollars in Jon Singleton: the question should be why *wouldn't* you put the guy in?

    Why? Because you play who you think gives you the best chance to win.
    That contract is signed. That money is gone. What's the point of (probably) making your team worse just because they already committed to paying him.
