Thank you, thumbs... the guy's ears are indeed plugged. And he has slipped, fallen and otherwise decended into the WRONG FORUM!
absolute classic loser line. no one can actually mean that, but it makes you sound like more of an a$$ when you say it.
That is by far the funniest thing I have read on this board. Lets analyze your above post jjd526. You say you would rather not go to the playoffs then to go there and lose every year. Lets see your Cubs and White Sox since 1959 have been to the playoffs a total of SIX times and lost them all Ok. The Astros have been around since 1962 and have made the playoffs SIX times. Now I'd rather go to the playoffs every year and lose, rather then go to the playoffs every 10 YEARS AND LOSE ok. As for the foolish white sox are making your astros look like losers comment, If I recall, the white sox had the best record in the AL in 2000, and then proceded to lose three striaght to the M's in the playoffs. The Astros did the same thing in 2001, so the White Sox don't have anything on the Astros ok. The Sox and the Cubs are playoff chokers just like Astros are, so you might wanna edit out that foolish statement. Oh yeah, and the rockets are not much better then the bulls, not to mention the bears should be way way better then your new texans team. Am I missing anyone? hmm... guess not. yeah props to you for talking smack against a team that has not even played one game yet. Very brave of you. It said nothing about the houston friggin rockets. (still proud of their filler titles in 94 and 95 when mike retired) otherwise bulls win 8 titles in a row. 91-98. There are many who will disagree with that ok. The Bulls would not have handled The Dream. Also Getting through Ewing 4 times (and SHAQ once) during the 6 title run, doesn't mean the Bulls would have solved Olajuwon. Dream was undoubtedly better than Ewing and better than the Shaq of 1996. Filler titles huh? This comment coming from a poster whose team played the likes of rookie Vlade Divac, Kevin Duckworth, Mark West, Ervin Johnson, and Greg Ostertag in the NBA Finals.
I've always felt that any team that palyed after the Celtics of the 60's should have an asterik next to their championship. Those Celtics would still be winning titles today, if all those players didn't retire and get old and wrinkly and stuff
Please don't use the city of South Houston as a barometer for the rest of the city! Houston can't be held responsible for South Houston, they're 2 completely seperate identities.
By The Way - I believe the Timeline was like this Mike Comes back - Mike Loses to Magic - Magic Swept by Rockets.
