Why is everyone caught up in placing the blame on this player or that player?

    I'm piss.

We should be up in the series. We gave away 2 games, and really almost 3.

We play stupid. We have low awareness of the situation. We are a dumb team. Bev is the exception.

Now, just move on and win game 5. Take game 6. See you at game 7.

It's human nature to blame / look at the negatives, when you lose.

Yeah, it was a boneheaded play. But you gotta realize a lot of things went right in order for Portland to hit that 3. Jeremy pretty much got the 2nd rebound too.

And while I agree we put ourselves in a bad spot if a game was decided by a 3 pointer, it was a crucial mistake and this is the playoffs. I do blame Lin for the loss, but if he redeems himself in the coming games and we somehow win the series, well, that's what sports is about and I would embrace it.

Fans are going to be fans OP. Are you not a fan pimpn? Do you not show different type emotions throughout the game? You never got pissed about a boneheaded play that cost your team the game? Let your fandom out and stop holding it in.

Say what you want, but the amount of people who respond to anything with "LOF this, LOF that" is a huge problem. Yeah, the dude has sucked balls as of late, but don't let it cripple your ability to talk about something different buddy like the actual topic of a conversation. I can understand if you don't have the ability to multitask thoughts, however.

Nah, I definitely understand that. I do it myself with friends. But the way it's taken over this board is just sad. This used to be a place for reasonable discussion to take place. Now if someone disagrees with someone else, they just say they're a LOF or LOH along with 100 other people and the thread derails.

I definitely understand disappointment and expectations. My only issue is that the topic of every thread eventually devolves into the same topic, regardless of relevance or not, and people say the same thing to dismiss the comments of others, just for having a different opinion.

I have my own fury, and talk **** about what's going on with our team with my friends, but it's sad there's nowhere to have a normal conversation about it anymore.

Yep. Not like it was even that long ago. Once we got the stars, this place went downhill very fast, in terms of meaningful discussion. Can't stay away though!

I am going to blame Drexler and his color commentary.

Why are you here? Just delete your account because you don't need to be on a rockets FAN site with your BS.

Yes Lin made a dumass mistake which most likely lost us the game. I say most likely because it was still a 2 posession game and portland could have very well beat us or tied the score anyways.

But let's not overlook the fact that Kmac was standing there like an idiot watching Lin be a dumass instead of motioning for a timeout right when he got the rebound.

And let's also not forget how this team coughs 10 point leads like they are nothing. Seriously at the end Parsons was getting abused in the Batum/Aldridge PNR.

But yeah lets make one player the scapegoat. That's fine.

I mean, I do agree with another person's comment above that plays made in big moments will be remembered more, but his initial comment was everything that's wrong with this place right now. But yeah, there were a ton of problems that lead to our collapse last night.

LOFing at people has become part of this board's core identity. I wasn't here in the old days but I will be very interested to see if the dynamic changes sometime next year when Lin is gone.

eh it is what it is...people get riled up over sports(whether that is right or wrong is a different conversation). People are killing paul george for playing like doo doo in the pacers/hawks series. What i do think is not cool is all the racist **** and death threats ish people are saying. And guarantee these people would be quiet as a church mouse if they had a chance to really do something.

    GARM gonna GARM

Problem is on this board and other boards there really isn't that many smart people that actually understand the game of basketball. People just don't realize basketball is a team game and that blame should be placed on the team as a whole and not just 1 or 2 individuals. Sure players are going to make mistakes but that only shows they are human. Its just how the team recovers from those mistakes that shows what this team is made of and what they can do

What did you think was going to happen when Lin fans showed up en masse and over the last two years have trashed every player and coach on the team as well as tried to cherry pick statistics in defense of Jeremy Lin's play? Where were you then talking about how it was a huge problem? It's been two years of this stuff.
