Batum is their best perimeter player. He's the one guy the Blazers should go to.

He doesn't wear #12 for no reason. He always goes 1 for 2 in crunch time.

Ah, I love it when someone says a rookie isn't legit despite amazing stats because he has glaring weaknesses in his game. Funny, who would have thought a rookie made a lot of mistakes.

I love it when someone says a rookie is legit after looking at the box scores, even though the rookie has several glaring holes in his game.

Ah you're right. Lillard is not legit! Even Durant and Rose had weaknesses in their rookie year. Let me spell that out for you, rookie year.

And he's already an above average player, only going to get better.

When it comes down to it, I'm saying Lillard is good and will get better when he corrects the mistakes he is making as rookie. You're argument is he's making rookie mistakes so he isn't that good.

You need to watch more basketball if you think Lillard is Kemba Walker.

Doesn't matter. Career will be over in three to four years. Bad back, bad feet, bad knee.

    Matter of time.

If you go check out the Blazers forums, you'll see their fans describing the Blazers as 'Lillard's team'. Meanwhile, a lot of them want to trade Aldridge to restock for the Lillard era.

I'm pretty sure it's his team.

Lillard is beasting right now, and LA has like 7 points.

Who could have imagined that a player out of Weber State could be one of the better scoring PGs in the NBA?

The most amazing thing about his 37 points is he never went to the line once.

This Blazers team is far more balanced than ours in retrospect. Lillard, Aldridge, Batum da gawd and Wesley Matthews all fit together nicely. Just need a legit center at the 5 and some much needed depth for this team to be up there with the Roy-LMA-Oden Blazers team.

Whether Lillard will ever be good enough to lead a franchise to a 'ship remains to be seen though.
