Why is comparing a player to Rasheed Wallace a complement?

I don't hate his style, but saying that just because you have a turnaround jumpshot in the post that is seemingly unblockable doesn't make you a great post player. Yao and Ducan get their shots blocks often, but they get to the line frequently and converted from the field at a high clip.

Scola scores the same as him but does it with MUCH higher percentage. Hes also a better rebounder.

sheed is a great talent because at his height his shooting range extends to the 3pt line. he doesnt need to hustle down low on offense because his deadly from the outside. scola needs to hustle down low because that's the only way he can score.

if sheed sees a mismatch down low, he's gonna post his defender. but him hanging out in the perimeter isnt a knack on his offense, rather it opens up the lane for his teammates.

who wouldnt want a PF who can shoot the 3 to give yao all the space he wants down low and for cutters to attack the basket? isnt that why they want landry to extend his shot to the 3pt range?

When it comes to freethrow shooting, Yao gets to the line just as much if not more, just because Yao may not be the player you feel doesn't mean he doesn't get to the line and isn't effective.
