Forgot how enjoyable some of the Kill Bill parts were. Indeed a classic scene

Been discussed plenty, but it all starts up top. Hayden, okay not quality...but how do ALL the normally GOOD actors in that film come across so wooden and HORRIBLE?

It was just all poorly conceived from start to finish by Director Lucas. Even actual Darth Vader and James Earl Jones came up lame.

Billy Dee Williams was calling Han "Hann" in the originals but he seemed to fit in. If you inserted Liam Neeson and Ewan McGregor into the originals, they wouldnt have stained those movies. Samuel L woulda found a niche. Mace Windu in campy Return of the Jedi would have been a good fit. If Mark Hamill was the weakest actor from the originals, then maybe Hayden could have been as least Mark Hamill weak with a good script and better directing.

This! I also can't stand Russell Crowe as Robinhood, or Christian Bale as Batman (I think he did a good job, just something about it, maybe it's the voice), or George Clooney as Batman.

Edit: After reading some more, I definitely have to add: Arnold as Mr. Freeze, isn't it Jaden Smith who plays Karate Kid? If not, whoever does. Jean Claude Van Damme in Street Fighter, Val Kilmer as Batman, Tommy Lee Jones in Under Seige, Colin Farrel as Alexander.

Lol if you disliked this year's movie, definitely skip the '91 version of Robin Hood with Kevin Costner then.

Christian Bale sounded ridiculous with that raspy voice. Kevin Conroy FTW.

To be honest, I really liked the role Kevin Costner played. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was his ever changing accent.

I would put Jaden's part in The Day the World Stood Still.
I looked at that film . . and was trying DESPERATELY why he was attached to it.
He is probably better suited to Karate Kid than that . . .
    but
    that ain't saying much

All good points, and yes, Lucas has to bear the lion's share of the blame. But Hayden is bad. I mean, really, really B-A-A-A-D. Have you seen "Jumper"? Everybody brings up "Life As A House", and yeah, ok. He was decent in that (not great, just decent). But one good role does not an actor make (see: Travolta, John RE: "Pulp Fiction").

McGregor tried his best, and came out ok. Portman was very wooden and stiff, but there wasn't much more she could do with those scripts, so I give her a pass. Liam Neeson was cheesy. And Sam L. was just completely useless. But the really bad acting (if you don't count Jar Jar) was turned in by Jake Lloyd (who I forgive for being so young) and Hayden Christensen (who has no excuse). The Anakin role was so very central, so very important to the whole story arc of ALL episodes. For Lucas to handle it so ham-handedly and leave it to an actor who is just so awful really soured meto the whole franchise. I haven't rewatched any Star Wars movie since I saw "Revenge of the Sith", and I don't know that I ever will. The whole series has been tarnished, and while Lucas may be the one to blame, the person I can't stand to see on screen is Christensen.
