That pretty much negates anything you say, that film is total and utter garbage except for the darth maul fight at the end.

Saw PoP over this past weekend, and all I can say is, don't judge his performance until you've seen it. He was completely fine in it, no problems with him in the role at all. The movie itself was, well, maybe a little 'loose' at times, but overall, roughly on a par with the PotC movies, which is what it was aiming for.

Grendal, maybe you should watch it again. I have seen each of the new movies at least 3 times. Episodes 2 and 3 seem rushed and the battle scenes are so heavy in CGI that it gives it a cartoony feel (at least to me). Episode 1 on the other hand is much more story driven (like eps. 4-6), excellently paced, and well acted. Not too heavy on CGI or dependent on huge battle scenes. And by the way, when you said "aside from the darth maul fight the rest is total and utter garbage" did you forget the whole pod racing scene? If not that negates anything you have ever said, are saying, or will say.

Back to the topic... I wish Clint Eastwood would have played Frank in "Once Upon a Time in the West." Nothing against Henry Fonda, but Sergio Leone and Clint Eastwood had a really good thing going. Anyone else agree?

I've seen all 3 multiple times as well and I can't say any of them are any good to be honest but EP1 is worst in my opinion and is generally considered the worst of bunch. Pod Races did nothing for me, just seemed like a rehash of Endor speeder scene from ROTJ.

Hrm Ben Foster would be too over the top I think. He's really intense i.e. 3:10 Yuma.

Christian Bale, James Franco, and Heath Ledger would've been good alternates to Hayden I think.

Really? James Franco? I don't see it. Bale is too old. Ledger might have been good but no-one would have considered him prior to "Dark Knight." And to Grendal - to each his own I suppose, but don't let one of my opinions "negate everything I say."

When I heard Michael Keaton was going to be Batman I was thinking it was horrible casting. When I saw it, I thought he was good. The only one that compares is Bale.

Gene Kelly(awesome) but was 20 years to old to play D'artagnan in the '48 Three Musketeers

Kevin Costner as Robin Hood - Just depressing and with a horrible ever-changing accent.

kyle maclachlan as the sleazy guy in Showgirls.

I'm sure there's others, but this is a start.

Tyler Perry in the latest Star Trek...
...Harold from Harold and Kumar also being in there for that matter

And I'm not sold on Daniel Craig being the new James Bond. I don't get that James Bond feel from him

Oh and John McClain's fat ass for ever being cast in a movie, apparently he's been in some because he always talks about it and has a SAG card.

Michael Keaton is the effing man.
