Our whole starting line up can't score outside of Yao. You take out Brooks, Landry even Head can hit a shot for crying out loud. Mac is a huge cancer on this team right now he gave us nothing just like vs the Cavs. Glue his @ss to the bench the guy was totally useless tonight. Morey should have traded broke back during the offseason.

Brooks is so much better than Alston its sickening. Why does he not play more, I just don't get it Adelman.

If we kept JVG, our offense would be bad but at least our defense would be top notch. With Adelman, we suck at both.

Rick ALDEMAN is a DUMB ASS for bringing in Rafer that moment over brooks@! brooks basically was our only 2nd offensive option that time.. OMG RICK ALDEMAN what a dumb ass move! and tmac is really a non factor these past couple games im tired of his lame ass excuses. Tonight he didnt bring it..

You guys are blaming this on Adelman...it's tempting but...

does Adelman miss open threes? does Adelman forget to rebound the f****** ball with 30 seconds on the clock? does Adelman step into the lane after a free throw, causing the most dumb**** violation I have ever seen in my life?

seriously, you can say "poor rotation decisions", but if I don't care if Jesus is coaching the Rockets, if one of your star players has a terrible off night and if other rotation players are clunking wide open threes then short of stepping onto the court and kneeing Chris Paul in the balls, there is little you can do.

tyson got 4th foul in 3rd qtr, and he still played the rest of that qtr

why didn't we pass the damn ball to yao, foul tyson out????

tyson+chris knocked out rox in 4th qtr for sure....

Good point Northside Storm, but back to the point.

Look at what the Celtics did last year with a rookie PG. Granted, Rondo's a good player but I would take AB over him in a heartbeat. He stretches the floor, can penetrate against anyone, and no matter what people say, he plays pretty good defense too. Sure, he might not play the best team defense but I can live with that if he is out there doing what he usually does, producing.

you know we're like a half game out of first place?

you can't beat every team when 3 of your best 4 players are either out or should be out. you can say injuries are just an excuse but that's just the way it is.

we should have a much better record, and i still am 100% confident that we're as good as anyone when the team is finally heathly, but we have 19 wins with a patchwork lineup every night. it's really not that bad.

he was put in because cp3 is a big guard like baron davis but on paper hes' listed at 6' and brooks cannot defend those 6'4 power guards

The bench is a bench for a reason...inexperience in closing out games. People blaming Adelman are sitting on some smug, 20/20 hindsight mountain; if you're a sane NBA coach, you go with your proven closers. And Rafer is a proven closer. How many times has he hit the clutch go-ahead shot? How many 4th quarters has he ran the Rockets through? Well, judging by the winning records, I'd say a lot more then Brooks.

I agree. Rafer gets killed every simple time by CP3. He is not going to do any better.
We are 0-2 since Rafer is back. Rick is sturborn. He'll prove he is right so no chances he will make a change any time soon.

The only reason I can think of is trying to get them up to speed. yes brooks may have done better and we could have won the game but Alston is the starter and its important for him to be ready come playoff time. Its a gamble.

Barry, should have continued to handle the ball and Brooks should have stayed with him.

Maybe,he is still hurting. His ability to attack the basket was missed.

Rafer comes back to the starting lineup and the offense goes back into the ****ter. Not a coincidence.
