We have Robinson, D-Mo, Smith. So why the hell do we continously see Delfino playing the PF spot? McHale will take out Omer, Lin, D-Mo, and everyone else not named Harden for defensive purposes, yet he continues to put Carlos at the PF. He does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on defense except invite mismatches, and is, more often than not, a liability on offense with his shot selection. Is anyone on the coaching staff watching any of these games that Delfino plays the 4? How many times has it been successful? 1 out of 4? frigging a, are we fans that stupid that we don't see some hidden purpose behind this idiocy?
The more and more I look at this, I really think Terrence Jones should be given a shot. I don't get why he is buried.
I think Mchale is secretly doing whatever he can to help the rockets lose, and is just collecting a check. i personally think he's a secret spy for the boston celtics.
Really? The Rockets went with DMo tonight but he was ineffective. Minnesota is playing small and McHale went with the veteran over another unpredictable rookie. I often find fault with McHale's rotations, but its tough to argue tonight. Good job by the Rockets in the 2nd half.
People are so stupid. Delfino should not be playing more than 20 minutes for a playoff team. Just NO. he's below average player and constantly makes awful mistakes.
^Not really, but people make too big a deal about deflino playing the 4. Dmo is a rookie and the trade made us lose both out PFs. Its not a stretch if you consider it.
There are times he shouldn't be playing the four, but when it works (like it did last night) why not go with it? You don't fix what's not broken.
As much as I value rebounding and have blasted McHale for going small to finish games, Minnesota is one of the few teams you can put Delfino at the 4 against because they play tweener Derrick Williams at the 4, who is nothing more than a glorified Channing Frye.
