It's sad that people think Kobe is "old school". He isn't. He would not have survived the Detroit Pistons of the 80s or the Knicks of the early 90s. You think Kobe would step up to Charles Oakley or Anthony Mason?

He is a fake tough guy who is protected by the rules and the current NBA culture he so often criticizes for being soft. He wouldn't put his hands on people or jaw so much if a real physical altercation could be the result. If he wanted a fight with Dwight so much he had an entire season to make it happen.

He didn't. He is soft by grown man standards.

I pray Kobe doesn't ever get held up by a real thug with a gun or he'll try to "keep it real" and get his prideful ass shot.

    I hate that egotistical prick.

He better take those "hits" without complaining, he gets paid over 20 million dollars to do so.
Inefficient and overrated, dont forget those. Overrated in terms of people saying he is a top 5 all time player, he clearly isnt. 30 or even 20, sure, but not as high as many people rank him.

Something tells me he would have done differently if it wasn't Dwight. He knew what he was doing.

all of the hate to the side and regardless of how he is now, for basketball there's no doubt he's one of the top players of all time. no way he is as low as 30. thats ridiculous. anyone that's followed his whole career and seen him all throughout his prime can appreciate that side of him.

I disrespect you for that poll.

And in any case, Dwight was the one throwing down with those bows, and so he was the one playing old school ball.

    Unpopular opinion

I would choose Kobe over Dwight in a fight

Dwight reminds me of that kid on the playground thats way bigger than anyone else but still gets beat up lol

I don't think either one would want to be in a real fight.

    treats his teammates like crap...
reduces his teams ability to contend by demanding every dollar he can get...
runs off talent with his arrogance (shaq/d12)...
    rape allegations...
    sues his own mother....

but he'll take an elbow to the mouth - so respect him.... I don't think so...

Kobe was a poor sport they was getting smashed and he lost it. If you saw the Phoenix game last night, it was even worst. As of right now, he's the laughing stock in the NBA by everyone minus his fan base. Players around the L including his own teammates are clowning on him. It's sad when his teammates be clowning on him whispering behind a towel lol. They don't even got his back.
