moved goal posts, trader took his statement and changed it, if you have a problem with the ridin dirty comment we can discuss that but that's not what we're discussing.

TO THOSE WHO TIE OBAMA TO ISLAM
You're reasoning is unreasonable......... CHRIST has nothing to do with America!

Wouldn't Christ want you to stop buying products made by un-Christian nations as well or does your religion stop at Capitalism?

America is so un Christian its pathetic and all those that claim this is a Christian country should look at slavery, homeless people, the health care situation and more......... WHERE ARE YOU CHRISTIANS?
HOW COULD YOU OR YOUR GOD ALLOW THIS?

Any of you who tie Obama to Islam should not have a problem with me pointing out that since priests continue to molest children, I am anti-Christianity then.

Oh wait all Christians shouldn't pay the price for a few perverts? Then Muslims shouldn't pay the price of a few who subscribe and in turn bastardize their religion as well.

THIS ELECTION has brought out the fact that we are a Nation of inclusion as well as exclusion only. IMO having public officials deemed by their religion is BS. Basically Bush shakes hands with Pakistan and walks away believing they are going to hell.

TAKE YOUR RELIGION and stay out of my Government before I make you look hypocritical in front of your God.

I have posted on this before, but that's not what ebonics is.

Here is a brief and skeletal history.

When Africans were enslaved and brought to the U.S. they spoke different languages but with much of the same roots and ways of forming words. Slave masters separated Africans from the same tribe and kept them apart. They weren't allowed to learn standard English, or to read or write. It was actually a crime.

They heard English and but never learned it formally. They had their Western African languages. The two kind of meshed and they tried to speak English to communicate but with grammatical structures from the Western African languages.

Ebonics is not slang, but has a grammatical form to it. A southern dialect is not the same.

Language patterns are passed down from generation go generation at an age earlier than schooling begins. Thus a child who hasn't started school yet may say "goed" instead of went for the past tense of go. He would do this because he learned the grammatical structure of the language. Thus ebonics is passed down, and the grammatical structure is learned.

because that's what you did, we're disucssing something and you start discussing something different. that's moving the goal post. if you want to discuss the "ridin dirty" comment that's fine. but that's not what we are discussing. the discussion is limited to trader's adjustment to the comments.

it wasn't about the ridin dirty, then you start discussing ridin dirty. that's changing the subject.

if we were discussing the slang, b-bob probably would have referred to it as slang, he apparently had issue with tj's changing of the comment to add a grammar mistake associated with black people.

    for the tenth time

OK. This list of what african americans cannot be called by non-african americans is getting awfully long.

I now understand why you think so many people are racists.

Do you understand how negative stereotyping has been used for years to create an inaccurate picture of one particular race?

The whites have done that to black people since slavery and afterwards. It generates negative preconceived notions and racism. It has been that way in this nation for a long time, and that exact kind of thing is what made the holocaust possible.

There is a reason why it is looked down on, now.

no he doesn't understand because he doesn't want to. these wingnuts really don't understand that making fun of black people is a result of slavery.

when people justified discrimination whatever, they come up with negative stereotypes. but he will not accept this because he's a wingnut who gosh darn it wants to make fun of black people

and he really has no credibility whining about what you can't say about blacks when he's defending the use of "******" in another thread.

I don't know, but who said it was alright? I don't see anyone making fun on anyone on this site, if they do it is quickly pointed out as not cool.

and yes, making fun of minorities in this country is the result of ignorance in general, as making fun of anyone is usually.

but again, he we go off on another caseyh tangent.

I was just interested in if you had a definitive root of comedy against any other racial group. I guess not.
