Being inspired by someone or something is lame. This is making me sick. I have to go listen to some AFI or something... It is important to question things, but cynicism is a poor substitute for wisdom.
Wisdom is not based on emotions and sappy music videos. Politics is about power, not some sort of redemption or salvation. Vote for who you think is best based on the issues etc. Just save the messianic talk.

Somehow I don't think Texxx would be throwing his president so readily overboard if his presidency had been a little more successful.
I think his race baiting, diversion tactics, strawman arguments and the like are all his own special way of acknowledging the points his supposed opponents are making.
