I think both Matthews and Parsons would have to miss serious time for Dallas to be that bad, but they certainly are not a favorite for a playoff spot now.
very doubtful. i don't see that at all especially for someone like josh smith who hasn't exactly had the best career thus far.
Well, but all he would have to do to outbid us (by more than like $250k) is offer something starting with a 6. I think Smith would be silly to do it for that little of a difference, but I won't ever fault someone for taking the money in sports. You have a very finite opportunity to make your money and most of these guys are complete morons with it away from the court.

Josh smith and cousins together in sac would be hilarious. who would throw the first punch. I think smith is smarter than that to choose that team.
I'm sure as soon as K.J. gets sorted out we will sign Josh. I'm sure the Rockets and Josh are just waiting to see if there will be enough of the MLE left over after K.J. to give Josh more than the ~$2.4 million we can currently give him.
We could, but the Rockets typically tell their RFA to go out and get a deal so that the market is set for them. K.J, probably wants to maximize what he can get too.

Who cares about Mcdaniels just resign Smith and Terry, find a backup point guard call it a day, lol. What's the hold up Murray.
