What exactly have the Clippers won? He would still come off the bench in LAC, so why not stay here and play with Dwight? LAC couldn't have given him much more than what we could have given

And for everyone who was laughing at Dallas' misfortune when DeAndre f'ed them over, THIS is why I didn't think it was all that funny at the time. Because it put the Clippers right back in contention and made them an attractive destination again. No way Smith signs there if DeAndre winds up in Dallas.

Very surprising to say the least.

Say what you will about Doc Rivers, but that man can recruit.

Clippers are building a bench. Pierce, Stevenson, Smith etc. This move right here probably pushes them above the Rockets and Grizzlies.

Took less money and apparently a more defined role. Rockets weren't willing to offer more than the $2.5M and apparently had no clear role?

Yeah, I'm gonna be that guy:

Hopefully back to your Detroit (and Atlanta) chucking ways, where they couldn't wait to get rid of you. Hack-a-Smith/Jordan will be great!

LOL What? He didn't have a winning and defined role on the team that beat the Clippers and played in the Western Finals as a title contender? Forever a knucklehead.

You know what they say, if you can beat 'em join 'em anyway.
