It seems that the more things changed the more they stay the same. Popular thread topics 4 years ago:

The coach (Rudy) needs to go. Our defense sucks. He's good with veterans, but doesn't know how to coach our young players and give them discipline.

Why doesn't Yao get more shots? The other players are selfish. How hard is it to throw a lob pass when he's fronted.

I would totally trade Francis for (X), he's totally overated. You're an idiot if you can't see that.

I wished we still had Kenny Thomas, look at how good he's playing. I told you he's better than EG. We got hosed on that draft day trade.

Why doesn't Boki get more playing time? He made made 22/23 3 pointer at tryouts, and we need shooters on the floor.

    Today:

The coach (JVG) needs to go, his offense sucks. He's good with veterans but can't develop young players at all, he needs to loosen the reigns.

Why doesn't Yao get more shots? The other players are selfish. How hard is it to throw a lob pass when he's fronted.

I would totally trade McGrady for (X), he's over the hill. You're an idiot if you can't see that.

I wished we still had Mike James, look at how good he's playing.

We got hosed on the draft day trade.

Why doesn't Novak get more playing time? He's the best three point shooter we have, and we need shooters on the floor.

Things have changed. Yao's become more physical and dominating. No more of this:

Everyone is entitled to have their opinion. No minds are alike so u will see many different opinions that u might not agree. If u dont like it then just dont read it and it wont bother u. In the end every member here is a die hard rockets fan so with every loss u will see dissapointment; and there is nothing wrong with that.

What is the record of the team over the last ten years? There's your answer. And how did they do right before this decade of futility? There's more of your answer. See, that wasn't so hard. :)

And, that may be one of the best basketball photos of all time. It still breaks me up.

Things have changed plenty from 4 years ago. The only problem you have is that they haven't won anything yet.

Maybe it's time to re examine the fans if there's a need for attitude changes. ;)

It really amaze me that most of the fan's whining come true, isn't it?
We do have a defense coach now.
We did trade SF3 for Tmac.
And Yao DID get more shoots nowadays and we are doing pretty good.

    So what's your point. sir?

I'm pretty sure his point is, why don't people change? People constantly complain, and even when the complaints are addressed, similar complaints continue.
