Translation: So why does Yao always get a free pass? "Money talks, bull***** walks." The NBA is a business. It's all about money. Winning games brings in the fans, fans bring in the money. Superstars bring in the fans and that means they bring in the money. Yao brings in all of China and some other countries. That's a lot of money on the table. T-Mac can't do that. OK? No money, no NBA. No money, no Obama. No money, and you can't pay your rent. No money, and you have to live on the street. It's actually kind of poetic, once you clean up the grammar.
For whatever reason I just now see this thread, so I haven't read through it. But for me, Yao doesn't get a pass. I get just as frustrated at his shortcomings as I do everyone else's on the squad. At the end of the day though, they all don the Rockets uni, so I support them until they leave.
Yao is the most critisized player in the league. Always has been Always will be don't give us any crap about a free pass. it has never been that way with him but he works and tries. big difference i will take a less talented player who works (yao/battier) than an all-star who sulks and chooses when to work any day in fact give me a whole team of workers. more entertaining
YAOLAJUWON is in the same class as Dream......... both haven't won any thing in their first 10 years ion the league......... DREAM was a FAILURE for 10 years past that bad defense against NC STATE........ sorry its true.
