That was a few years ago.

Clearly the guy is a mentalcase and unwilling to fit into a team concept. So he rides the pine - can he be the star of a 10 win team?

    Mediocre shooting guard prospect much?
Cannot crack a rotation easily... not just with us.... with a losing team like the Nets.

Gave up a first rd pick for him - and still havent seen enough of him to make a final assessment.... intrigue

More importantly - interaction... between shout outs to Clutchfans and Twitter he seems more personable - good or bad...

    this is the truth though.
if he never stated he was into clutchfans, he wouldn't be this popular

Artest said he reads clutchfans, he was real.
    clutchfans appreciates the realness

    Clutch keeps it real

Crazy athleticism is intriguing. The right coach can get this guy's head together, surely. He is not as stupid as Stromile Swift. He is not a substance abuser like Francis. I think he is eventually going to break out, probably somewhere else.

I think it's the drama that intrigues people more than his potential or talent... although there is some interest in the latter, too. Probably especially after the whole Jeremy Lin ordeal.

    Because he interacts with clutchfans?

He's a guy with a colorful personality and intriguing basketball skills. Who wouldn't be interested? We think we have known qualities already with KMart and LScola etc.

Williams is a string of clichés wrapped in an enigma. Very frustrating.

He's interesting. He has a personality a bit off kilter, but very outgoing, in a quirky, sensitive way. He has enough obvious physical talent that you can't help but want to see what he can do with it, at least I felt that way for quite a while. Then he seemed incapable of playing within an offense when he got his chances. That turned me off to the guy. Under Adelman, the offense just ground to a halt when he stepped on the court. I thought he might thrive under the new coach, but McHale has been harder on him than Adelman, IMO. I imagine Williams wonders why his coaches are so tough on him. It's because they recognize talent unrealized, and that's frustrating as hell.

    It's a cycle.

    Terrence Williams
    Marcus Morris
    Donatas Motiejunas.
Jeremy Lin (that one panned out, though)
    Jordan Hill
    Sergio Llull
    Patrick Patterson
    Jermaine Taylor
Trevor Ariza (Probably the biggest ying and yang among fans' love or hate for a player)
Joey Dorsey (head low on this one)
    Kyle Lowry (see Aaron Brooks
    James White
Aaron Brooks (but he was playing at a very high level and took over admirably as a starter)
    Steve Novak
    John Lucas Jr.
    Luther Head (very briefly)
Steve Francis (when he was moving through the league)
    Vassilis Spanoulis (V-Span)
    Ryan Bowen
Bobby Sura (who was good in 04-05 in crucial moments)

Tracy McGrady (positive obsession to negative obsession)

This for one. He's obviously in amazing physical condition. God look at the power on that dunk. He had a decent college career. I keep hoping he can come out and be a Michael Finley type player. Maybe its too much to ask for 20 points a game from him, but why not Michael Finley type numbers in his final five years with the Spurs?

NBA2K12 is usually really accurate with the players in the game. I love playing with TWill. Its hard not to see a lot of T-Mac in him. Yes its a video game, but seeing he's played a whole 169 minutes all season, there's not much to go by.

Watching T-Will, I just see an atheltic player with a low bball IQ. Why does he consistently jump in the air to pass for no reason at all. I agree with him on 1 thing, his D is 3 mln times better than Chase and he can actually get by someone off the dribble and finish at the rim.

    Free T-Will & Thabeet!!

These guys are just intriguing to me! I have a feeling the may be traded and blossom with playing time! Williams has too much potential! I feel that after we pull of what ever trades, they will give him consistent playing time. McHale raved about him so much early this season saying that he could be a shut down defender. The physical tools are there, he just needs heavy minutes.

we are all beggin for that one player to be excited about... Even though we were losing in the early francis mobley days it was still fun to watch the rockets because they were exciting... that why i think we either need to land a star or blow the team up... because right now there is nothing to be excited about and thats why ratings and attendance is poor... (please read this morey)
