    She has been accused of being an Iranian spy since last year. There is evidence that she has been communicating directly with members of the Mullah regime, receiving direct instruction from them, using her university e-mail address. It's on the internet, but also in this very thread.

    The position that you consider legitimate (reduce the chances of a war between Israel and Iran that the US would inevitably be forced to get involved in) might very well entail actions that would prevent or reduce in scale retaliatory attacks against either side. Such as leaking plans for a direct strike

    According to these reports, she accepted the promotion that was offered the month before.

    In any case, these are details - Kamala Harris and the leftists within the Democratic Party systematically installed people with close ties to the Iranian Mullah regime in top government positions.

    Why?

    And how is that not a scandal?

    She apparently is regarded as an expert on Iran when it comes to their national security goals and having her on board as an analyst is considered an asset to the DoD. Can't comment on her credentials. I don't think an academic/writer who specializes in Iran having cordial exchanges on policy positions with Iranian reps seeking improved diplomatic relations with the West is all that scandalous. But maybe you are alluding to some other ties that I'm not aware of.

    And was she installed by Kamala Harris? Didn't know that.
