and i feel like im talking to a kid who believes in the tooth fairy and santa clause. this topic really isnt that difficult to understand.
LOL know how to read? let me guide you through it what does this statement mean in your own words? "We aimed to find the most relevant features that contribute to the risk of injury in NBA players."
tell us why james harden has avoided significant injury. whats the correlation. In a possible 272 reg season games in the last 4 years hes played in 270. is it bc hes playing too many minutes tel us why trevor ariza has avoided significant injury. 267/272 reg season games played in the last 4 years. hes playing too many minutes so he should be injured
ya need to give it a rest. we know we want our players to play a little less but a couple more minutes more from each player in 2 weeks span isn't that big of a deal. Now when it's an extended time that's a different story. Injuries can be indirectly caused by playing too much. You compensate when you're tired and risk injuries.
So you perfectly read and understand what the sloan/sloan article was saying but you just simply refuse to believe it Is it because sloan/mit cant be trusted?
exactly. you're unable to answer the question with your gimmick thought process. you fail to understand injuries come with the game once you step out on that floor no matter the circumstances.
Guys like Harden and Ariza have excessive minutes every year. I kinda got it before, but Harden has great backups this year. Every single blowout this year, Harden and many other primary rotation players are getting minutes until there's like two minutes left, if that, in a 20-pt game. In the case of the last couple days, even while Harden was playing on a kinda bum knee. And in today's case, even when we have a b2b game tomorrow night against a tough opponent. I know, we're winning, and I know MDA has his role in that... I'm not trying to hate, and I'm generally ridiculously optimistic about the Rockets, esp this year. But MDA has always been known for having a short rotation, and I think he really pushes it when the game is clearly over. I mean Harden is clearly disinterested in many of these games, too, by the end. Which is why his 4th quarter shooting percentages are atrocious, especially by his standards. I'm either alone on this, or I've somehow missed other threads pointing out the same flaw... This is one of the many kinds of things that really makes me love and respect Pop as the GOAT coach.
You do realize that our starters are playing the least amount of minutes going back about 5 years this season right? They can afford a few games here and there where they play a bit longer. We have the Bucks tomorrow, so we should be good. The potential to get injured on the other hand, that would be more concerning.
ariza playing 41 minutes in a blowout is absurd. i know luc is out and all but you could stagger those minute between ariza and tucker better.
I hate it but I also like looking at that 11pt differential grow and see the conspirators come crawling back
I like how that random scrub almost injured Harden... He really shouldnt have been in there in the first place
We literally have one backup wing right now, and he plays a lot of center. The starters haven’t been overplayed this year.
I wouldn't say I'm 'irked' but I have noticed this trend with MDA and agree that he needs to get our stars as much rest as possible whenever the opportunity is there.
"We should be good"? Are you trying to imply the Bucks are an easy team...? I know we're the favorites, especially the way we've been playing, but it's not like this is the Clippers. I don't know how the exact minute count compares, but I know Harden is playing the same minutes, pretty much, as ever, despite having Christ Paul and Eric Gordon on his roster. And I know I see him and other starters in until there's less than two minutes in 20-pt games on a regular basis. And I know that Harden has been on a gimpy knee while this has been happening for the last three-ish games.
