Nowhere did I say LeBron was the greatest of all time.
I'm just tired of the amount of irrational hate LeBron receives for not being an perimeter-oriented player.

LeBron isn't a three point or mid range player. I don't know why that's considered a bad thing but apparently it is.

Well he obviously has the skills the be the top jump shooter as you see his first quarter FG%. There's something going on in his head.

Wow, 52.2% FG? So awful. That means his TS% is probably near 60%

In comparison, players like Rose are near 40% in crunch time statistics and Kobe 45%.
    Way to analyze Oh-Pee

Why are all Kobe fans so bitter about Lebron's success, to the point where they try undermine his achievements? Kobe's had his time and now it's the King's era. It is what it is.

Ray Allen did save his career you are correcto

Lebron was absolute ass that game at some points, but made a bunch of clutch plays too.

But that can be said about any great player, Kobe was saved by ron ron and Gasol, Robert Horry made a bunch of clutch shots for Duncan, Kobe, Hakeem etc.

if Ray Allen had missed that shot, yeah Lebron would be made fun of forever, but it went in and the Heat won the series, so people will eventually forget about it.

What are you even saying here? LBJ should be taking mid range jump shots when the game is on the line? He stops taking the mid range shot because that's a horrible shot.

You're really just reaching here, calling the 4 mvp lechoke or saying he lsot the midas touch or whatever, players like Kobe will kill to have a 73% FG percentage at the rim. Plus, as other posters have stated MJ shot at that exact % at the 3 pt line, is MJ a choker? Does he lose his midas touch?

Finally Shaq has a better TS% because all he does is dunk the ball. That would be like saying Dwight Howard is a better shooter than Ray Allen because he has a better TS%.

My point is is this. I think LeBron is unstoppable on all parts of the floor, including his jump shot. But for some reason, he can't hit them in the 4th quarter. That's the whole point. He hits 50% of his jumpers in the 1st quarter, makes only 30% in the 4th, that's why he's not clutch.

Hasn't it ever occurred to you his jumpshot FG% goes down because the D becomes tighter at the fourth and he stops taking jumpshots when the game is on the line? Why is jumpshots your sole basis for being clutch or not, when it is one of the worst shots in basketball?

not by that much. Look at Tony Parker... LeBron is still shooting wide open jump shots. They never lay off LeBron. It's psychological.

I'm not trolling. First of all, LeBron based on stats is a great jump shooter, shooting 43% from 3.

However, he is actually an awesome shooter in the first quarter at 50%, yet reverts to the mean by shooting 30% in the 4th quarter. Basically, if you consider the 4th quarter the "clutch moments," he does not have many of those clutch moments hitting jumpers because he can't make any of them!!

You can say I'm trolling, but I just proved the obvious that LeBron can't hit jumpers in the clutch at a high %, which none of you have shown proof that he can.
