Haha a memorabilia sticker, coffee mug, or t-shirt with a silhouette of a player with hands up facing a silhouette of a ref would be a hot selling item.
It does hurt the team, since we have quite a few whinos on our team. Harden, CP3, Ego and Nene. Not a good look and I don't like it. Complain in the right way, meaning foul someone and go to the ref or play on. This hands up in the air, arguing with the ref to no end is costing us points you know..
The worst one was when he was jumping around b****ing like a toddler and rolled his ankle. Lol. Thankfully he didnt really get hurt.
I actually read a Jazz fan saying that the refs call everything for Harden and to balance that they don't call **** for the rest of the Rockets lol
The arm flapping is my favorite part. If I could do videos, I'd have him flapping so hard he flies away.
My wife and I talk about this every game. She suggested for the next pre game promotion, they give away Eric Gordon masks (where he is making his “can’t believe he didn’t get the call face”)where you can also press a button and you hear one of his different shrieks or yells each time you press it.
Are you familiar with the story of the "boy who cried wolf"? Eric Gordon is the origin of that story.
It's not just the yell, but the look of absolute confusion. I don't care as long as he gets back on defense, but he doesn't so it bugs me. There's three types of non-call whiners: 1) Never whine and therefore rarely get the calls because the refs know you won't say sh*t. Wrong. 2) Always whine and therefore don't get calls because the refs find you annoying. Wrong. 3) Whine when you truly believe you got fouled. Refs respect this. IE Harden. Correct.
New drinking game, take a shot during a Rockets telecast everytime... 1) Eric Gordon cries for a foul call while driving to the hoop 2) Iman Shumpert takes a long 2 3) Chris Paul does a swing through in order to draw a foul 4) Austin Rivers does a gangster crossover then flails up a wild shot at the hoop 5) Clyde Drexler says "Night in, and night out!"
