Why do you view politics the way you do?

    I was extremely conservative growing up but open minded socially and never judged people. I was turned of by Republicans bashing minorities and foreigners in High School while in Houston. But I didn't agree with Democrats either and was pro-Iraq 1 war. I thought Dukakas was a doofus.

    I didn't like Clinton nor Bush, so I was going to vote Ross Perot until he went luny. But I started to like Clinton because I thought he was a pragmatist and genuinely wanted to make America better as well as being a moderate. What pushed me to the left was the last 10 years of Bush and the rise of the tea party. It's really turned me off to the GOP and I feel that it's become a party with no core principles and one that runs purely on fear, anger, and nationalism.
