This team shoots a lot of 3 pointers, but still doesn't have an elite 3 point shooter on the team.

I think Dekker was a good pick, but I think RJ Hunter would've been better.

Because IMO rjhunter is a chucker with horrible shot selection and is much older than most prospects. If his shot doesnt translate he will be a bust.

Because Dekker is more talented. Morey said it himself.

Because he input numbers into his sophisticated machine from the future and Dekker's name came out.

after looking at his stats his efficiency went down. on his draft page it says he cant make his own shot and didnt face much competition, and when he did he got shut down. for his efficiency to go down agaainst weak competition, he cant be a good pick. so best case he's just a shooter that needs someone to get him good looks. poor man's jj reddick?

dekker can do all the things he can do plus more.

Same reason why Troy Daniels didn't stick around.

I think that's the main reason. They were willing to part with Troy Daniels because he brought nothing to the table other than 3-point shooting.

If it's that simple, morey would have just brought back steve novak.

Him hitting jack **** when he was on the court didn't help matters either. I think if he would have shot better Daniels would still be on the team.

I guarantee you if The Rockets would've had the 3rd pick in 2009, DM would've passed on James Harden and Steph Curry to pick Jordan Hill!

    Hunter is a 3&NoD player.

Dekker is a 3&D player who is taller, longer, faster, stronger, etc...

    At 28% 3pt shooting, Hunter seems like a No3 & NoD player.

All I heard from ESPN was how good his range was, but the guy shoots a low percentage.
