Them continuing to win games when Parker and Manu are out doesn't take away from the fact that they are still superstars. Yes Pop is a great coach but Parker Manu and Duncan are still tremendous players.

Bulls were number 1 seed with Rose missing over 1/3rd the season. Rose definitely has a major impact. Still find it funny when people still say he is better than Paul though.

No Dwight news is scary news for me simply because I think Hennigan and Morey already have a wink wink deal in place:( and after we lose Dwight to free agency we will be stuck with either Richardson or Hedo bad contract Lin and Asik which is dumb. And when Lamb becomes a top shooting guard in this league we as Rockets fans will never let that go. I would rather trade Martin for Al Jefferson straight up go out and sign Alonzo Gee to an offer s

I care a negative amount about bringing Howard in to make the playoffs for one year.

Any interest I have in Dwight is based on the fact that I think he's too selfish to actually walk away for less money at the end of the year like he claims, but I still wouldn't give up a package the Magic would actually take for him unless he agrees to stick around.

It doesn't matter how many of us want Howard. The fact is, he doesn't want us. I don't care how many people claim that his agent said it. He hasn't denied it. Therefore,it is fact until proven otherwise.

So we should not try to get him because we think he doesn't want to be a Rocket?

There is no think about it. He does not want tobe here. So, why force him? He(or his agent:rolleyes:) has said on numerous occasions that he will not resign.

Sources have said this. Those sources may not necessarily be Howard's agent.

Howard has always wanted to be on New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets. He'd probably already be there this offseason, if he didn't have that boneheaded epiphany of his at the trade deadline. Now because of it, we have to go through more drama from this 24/7 soap opera queen.

    I don't.

    Especially for the asking price.

It hasn't been shot down as being untrue.

But the Nets are no longer an option to him.

because the rockets need a very good center, and people want a superstar, and he could help the rockets a lot. and Dwight Howard covers that profile for a position needed with the Houston Rockets.

For this offseason, but it's still a possiblity before the trade deadline. I would assume that's why they signed Humphries to that 2 year/24 mil deal.... so the numbers could work.

July of next year is a LOOOONG way off. Its impossible to tell what might transpire between now and then.

One thing we can be fairly certain of. A Rockets team with Howard would be much better than one without him.

If possible...trade for him. Lets worry about what we do if he doesn't stay if/when it comes to that.
