Out of Houston via sign and trade. Look, I understand why people like Ron. That being said, he proved he was not a leader or a go to guy.

His game has really diminished over the season. He takes poor shots, has no passing or ball handling skills, and his defense is overrated. he got beat consistantly today. The whole team played terrible, but if you're going to consider yourself a star, step up like one. Ron only steps up with comments in the media and getting in people's faces. He's an enforcer, but nothing more then a MLE player.

For all the people who say he's a great leader, show me some examples. That he shaved stuff in his head, that he hustles and is humorous with the media? How about making his teammates better or stepping up when we neened a guy who could create his own shot. He's done neither for the majoroty of the season IMO

how quickly you forget he was vital in the Portland series,
how quickly you forget his defense on LeBron James.

how quickly, so called "ROCKETS" fans who had never seen the 2nd round in the lives through a guy under the bus who's FIRST THING he said was that he was proud to be in an organization that has "HAKEEM OLAJUWON"

it's not on him, it's on you.

I bet 98% of the Ron Arest haters cause that's what they are, have NEVER seen the last time the Rockets made it out of the first round.

It's like Afghan women complaining about their bikinis after the fall of the Taliban.

Lol. Whatever you say. I have not been a supporter of Ron all season. I liked the gamble by Morey, he just didn't work out IMO. His style of play doesn't fit in our offense.

He had an OK Portland series. You are certainly over stating his value there. You know you are reaching when the sec ond point is his defense against LBJ during the regular season. What does that have to do with anything. We play Cleveland twice a year.

Meh. Questioning me being a "Rockets fan" because I don't share the same opinion as you on Artest is laughable. Using a quote that he made to attempt to illustrate your point is sad.

It's certainly not on me. I don't play for the Rockets. His poor play in the series is on him.

    Excuse me,

Did we not take the Lakers to Seven games without Yao and off course, without Tmac?

Did we not make it out of the 2nd round for the first time since Charles Barkley?

And Ron had nothing to do with it??

Oh did Ron ever say anything negative about the Rockets?

did he ever say ..or excuse me, make excuses on why he never made it out of the first round ? like I never played with Tim Duncan?

did he ever go directly to Stephen A Smith instead of his teammates and tell them he's hurt so he doesn't get traded for Vince Carter?

Nope. Some of us just can see the big picture when it comes to Ron. Apparently, you can't. That's why you go on the defensive instead of backing up your argument with facts. "Ron haters", "real Rockets fans", ect....you throw those terms around loosely. Just because everyone doesn't have a man crush on Ron like you do, doesn't mean we don't support the team. Please explain to me why you would pay him 7-9 million a year for 3 season. I'd love to hear it

    That's easy.
Ask Lebron James when he was here at Toyota Center. can you tell me what happened that game?

    Ask the Portland TrailBlazers.

Did you not see him play against the Lakers in game 1 when he had a healthy Yao?

What you Ron and Rocket haters forget is that this team was void of Yao Ming who sets up the offense.
