i don't hate the lakers. they're a fun team to watch. it's funny seeing payton talk so much crap.... and he's good at it too from what other players say. the way he moves on the court is so unorthodox that it's cool looking. i wouldn't mind seeing him win a ring... after steve, cat, and yao do. yep... shaq is funny too. cool how he can spit out something funny with a straight face and people have no idea that he was kidding.
Magic, Kareem and Worthy were tolerable... Shaq's dislodging charges that don't get called are intolerable...
I agree, but this was not under the new CBA. He probably wouldn't have left under the new CBA, which happened after the lockout. I hate them 'cause of Phyllis and Bryant. I started not to mind Bryant as much, until he got the ridiculous tattoo (innocent 'til proven guilty, I guess). And ZRB, Payton's a punk.
I used to like Kobe, now I can't stand watching Lakers games because of him. He'll be the person that ****s it up for them. He might put up 30 points in the playoffs, but down the wire he's going to take the shot and miss, and then take the shot again and miss. Malone is still cheap.
I can't stand the Laker fans, I think calling them fans is way to nice to begin with. I remeber going to the Forum to watch the Rockets beat the Lakers(they did beat them by the way) when LA had Magic and was totally shocked. First thing the place wasn't filled until a couple of minutes after the 2nd quarter!! It was a f***ing Sunday for christ's sake. And it seemed more like a social affair than a basketball game. Now that I live in Vegas I am constantly dealing with these ***holes who speak nothing but lakers this and lakers that. I keep on thinking to myself where were you people when they didn't have Shaq or Kobe. I was so delighted to see them get their ass kicked by the Spurs, I just wish it had been the Rockets. I went down to Long Beach this past summer and was talking with a friend of mine who happens to be a Laker fan and we started talking about the playoffs he said what did I know about the playoffs since the Rockets didn't make them. I told him that the Rockets didn't make it because they didn't want to get kicked out of the playoffs by losing by 20 points at home like the sorry ass Lakers. The Laker fans are about as plastic as the city they represent.
