If youre looking for a Livescore look here: Akropolis-Tournament if you klick on the Score, then you will open a new Window with the Livestats of each Player! I don`t know if you are able to see ERT-SAT in the USA, but if you do, the just turn ist on in less the 2h. The will show the Game Hellas vs Italy with 1h delay(don`t worry, the will show the hole game). At the olympic games back 2004 Spanoulis just was the 12th man and had not played much. At the EC last year he was Guard No.5 behind Papaloukas, Diamantidis, Zisis and Chatzivrettas. He didn`t play much, but move forward to Player No.10 in the National-Team. After the EC he changed the Club and went to Panathinaikos which is one of the best Clubs in Europe. There he had to compete with Diamantidis and Chatzivrettas(both Guards of the NT), but also with Lakovic, who ist PG No1 of Slovenia. He succeded and made a great debut in the Euroleague! This is why he overcome Chatzivrettas and become Guard No.4 in the NT of Hellas! He still haven`t show his real skills playing with the NationalTeam but had a nice ShootBlock and a drive to the Basket in yesterdays Game against Croatia.
Im surprised nobody has brought this up...or even noticed it. Check out the name on the back of #10 that KillBillVasilliWhatchamcallhim is driven on.... I believe the name on the back of that jersey says "Nachbar"
Greece defeated France 70-56 and Spanoulis was the first scorer of the team with 11 points in 21 minutes. He played against Parker most of the time. Parker scored 20 but also had 7 turnovers. France had all their NBAers playing (Parker, Diaw, Pietrus, Turiaf, Gelabale).
This is pretty good, but then again Parker is not known for being a great defender. On another note, it is kind of surprising that Greece, with its 0 NBA players (1 if you count Spanoulis) can hang with (and even beat) the teams that have NBA players.
