aaaaaahaha his name's Basil ... anyway, KillBill is probably the coolest rocket nickname. Only if it's spelled without a space though. I'm so tired of "T-Mac" and "J-Ho" and "V-span" and "VC" and "DA" and every single other nba player with that played cookie-cutter nickname. The whole mistranslation story is what makes KillBill unique. Also, his shirt's yellow and black.

The Greek journalists gave him that nick-name because of his killer offensive instinct.

Back in the mid and late 80s growing up in Austin, the only way to catch a Rockets game was on the AM radio where if I tuned it just right could barely hear Gene Peterson and Jim Foley. Being in high school, I would listen to these games till late at night and rely on the picture painted by this outstanding radio duo and hear the Dream tearing it up, or listening to the description of Purvis Short's rainbow jumpers, etc. I also remember hearing the Texaco with high tech techoline commercials during nearly every timeout or commercial break! Great memories for me, I miss the KTRH broadcasts not being in an area to receive via AM radio!

OK, they really call him Kill Bill. It doesn't sound good to my ears to use an exhortation as a nick name, but ok. I would have preferred Kill Ball though.

Villi Spanilli is a take off of the legendary pop group Milli Vanilli. They're big in Greece.
