The Ghost of Turbo is changing the trajectory of Tmac's shots.

Majority of the lower bowl is sold out usually, problem is that the white suits that own them don't show up.

I'm glad you can afford lower bowl season tickets, but hope you understand that not too many here can throw down 2+ to 3+ grand for those.

well we are a boring team to watch in the first place with yao on the team, and it doesn't help when we don't win as many games as we should with our talent or have gotten out of the first round in a decade....so the rich ppl don't feel like wasting their time to go watch a team underachieve

I miss Compaq center... The way toyota center constructed is the problem imo...

I hate the idea that 1st floor' mid sections, which are the Rockets Club sections, can just go insideclub and eat/drink and watch the game through huge plasmas. I think they should do that before/halftime/after game, not during the game! I think that is one of big reason we sees empty seats on TV.

Also I am not sure about this, but when I see other NBA courts, it is so bright, I can see all the fans reaction. Why dont we do that? I think Rockets, Lakers and Knicks are only teams that give basketballcourts bright spotlight and keep fans/seats dark.

BS excuses from T-mac about depth perception. He should be used to it by now. Depth perception doesn't affect penetrating to the basket. He takes alot more jump shots now, compared to his Orlando tenure.

If anything, it would be an advantage for us and the opponents would be thrown off. It would be like Denver and the altitude problem, after a while the home team gets used to it and exploits the visiting team.

The Rockets were 27-14(0.658 home win percentage) in their first season. We were 28-13(.683 home win percentage) at the Toyota center, last year.

The ugly court design, seating arrangements, and location of the toybox are bad feng shui.

i dont think the depth perception/lighting is as much of BS as people like to claim (or more accurately bash tmac). The lighting in the arena is funky, at least I always thought it was a little odd. Of course I've never shot on the court but I could see how it may be a little awkward. That being said, you'd get use to it eventually.

But first things first, I do wish they would light up the stands more...its a dungeon

There are three factors I think which hurt our home record:

    1. Lighting. It's off and not like any other arena. I can see why it might bother the players.

    2. Empty seats. When you have performers like T-mac - who live to play in front of a packed house...how odd it must be to draw more ohhhs and ahhhs on the road from an appreciative crowd then to empty seats.

    3. Polite fans. This is a kind way of saying they don't make any noise. Some guy actually posted in his defense that he gets on his feet a lot. What does he do say, "jolly good show"????

There is no reason for our bad play at home except for LACK OF FOCUS!

All the other teams in the NBA do not seem to have a problem winning at Toyota Center...

I think you are spot on. These guys have been lack of focus in their play and this can be seen as the game is full of sloppy play and passes. I believed they play worst in Toyota center and with the addition of the pressure of support from HOME fans which is rowdy.. these guys just get more nervous
and their focus probably got worse.

If it's depth perception that the problem, then just drive to the goal and try to get a dunk each play; that should solve the problem...

Novak didn't seem to have a problem with depth perception. Just defensive perception.
